Will UTV's plans to lanuch a channel in the South have any effect?

Probably close down TV3 as most of their programmes seem to be ITV stuff.

As others have said, derry have had a much better scene than tyrone, when they had different winners every year and yet 3 or 4 of them did well in ulster so tyrone can't use that excuse.

Well from 1997 to 2003 4 different Derry teams won Ulster:
1997 Dungiven
2000 Bellaghy
2001 Ballinderry
2003 Loup

tyrone are in crisis as they haven't won a club ulster since 2002, although derry clubs have won and deserved to win all ireland club championships if ballinderry don't win ulster this year the 11 year break will hardly mean derry football is in crisis.

I agree with your point about it being very high and windy and there will mostly likely be issues in the winter up there, but i would have said Ballygawley was about as central and easily accessible as you could get?

apparently if you make a cross to find the centre of tyrone its mountfeild or there abouts, not saying the county board should have built a facility there just saying its more central.
