Bentdner's finishing just isn't good enough. When Adebyaor & Eduardo are both fit along with Van Persie & Vela, I don't think there will be a place for Bendtner in the panel. Wenger should sell him in January and pay whatever it takes to get a big centre half to shore up a dodgy looking defence. I think Fabianski has shown enough to justify a run in the first team.

If we get Rosicky back soon we still might give the premiership a run this season.

My prefered 1st 11  from the current panel are:
                 Fabianski

  Sagna     Toure     Gallas    Clichy

Walcott    Fabregas  Diaby   Rosicky

        Adebyaor    Eduardo

Subs    Almunia, Silvestre, Denilson, Van Persie, Song.

I was playing scrabble and had enough letters to make 'Tottenham Hotspurs Football Club'. I was gutted when I found out it was only worth two points.

QuoteIt's panto season again at White Hart Lane. you have to keep shouting at the Tottenham defence, "they're behind you!"

Wrong thread Windmill!!!!

I think the two week break for Internationals is a God-send.  I reckon once we win our next match the floodgates will open and we'll storm up the table.

If I cant post jokes about Spurs on this thread, why should you be allowed to?

Nasri agrees to join Arsenal from Marseille
French international midfielder Samir Nasri has agreed to join Arsenal from Olympique Marseille on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.

Nasri (21), who made two appearances for France in Euro 2008, was voted as the French Ligue 1 'Young Player of the Year' for 2006/07 and was also Olympique Marseille's Player of the Year for 2007.

Nasri, has made twelve appearances (scoring twice) for the French national team, making his debut for his country in March 2007 in the 1-0 friendly win over Austria. He was also a French Under-21 international and part of the French Under-17s who won the European Championships in 2004.

The young attacking midfielder made 145 appearances (scoring 11 goals) for Olympique Marseille, during which time he won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2005, was a French Cup runner-up in 2006 and 2007 and helped his side into third place in Ligue 1 last season, thus securing a UEFA Champions League place for next season.

Manager Arsène Wenger said: "We are delighted to be signing Samir Nasri. He is young, quick and technically an outstanding player. He has shown great potential with his performances for Marseille and the French national team over the past two seasons and he will add great quality to our squad."

Nasri added: "I'm very happy to become an Arsenal player, it means such a lot to me. This is a very important step in my life as a football player because Arsenal is a massive club. I really hope everything will go well for me here. I will do my best for Arsenal and its fans and I am honoured to be part of such a great football club."

Samir Nasri is due to join up with his new Arsenal team mates for pre-season training on 21st July

Finally this transfer is complete.

It's good to see Arsenal bring in a new player as opposed to all the current rumours about players leaving

Despite how this child was conceived, how can anyone think that it's life is more worthy of termination than any other unborn child?

I've always liked Jimmy Stewart acting in westerns, "Shenandoah" and "Where the river Bends" being my favourites.

Of the more recent westerns "Wyatt Earp" and "Unforgiven" are probably the best

Agree that the original 3.10 from Yuma was a classic

Can anybody on the Board recommend a good scotch whisky?
I want to bring back a bottle for someone who usually drinks Irish Whiskey (He complains about some of the scotches having a burnt taste).
Are single malts the best?

"O Brother where art thou" & "Young Frankenstein" would get my votes, although I would also rate "Dumb & Dumber"

QuoteIs that not a chemical hair remover?

You never said what was trapped between your teeth. After 2 months of brushing, flossing & washing, most food stuffs will have been removed. I was only trying to suggest a way of removing somthing other than food that may have been trapped between your teeth.
