No one resents her apart from a few angry middle aged white male twats. Sure they resent everything at the moment.

She is arguably one of the most recognisable people on the planet at this moment. I for one am a fan. She should wind trump up more by announcing she is standing for president.

Now the dust has settled and whether you believe it or not, everyone needs to subtly maintain the narrative that the DUP sold out and there still is an Irish Sea border. Time to twist the knife  ;D

As I said, there are loads of hidden costs and risks if dealing with cash, and when not evading tax. I'd like someone to do a realistic comparison, and not just the usual hyperbole about how a the payment providers are screwing them.

Yes I want a cash discount if you are going to avoid putting its through the books as one you are not paying VAT and should not be collecting it etc....

Got me wondering, in all honesty, you'd have Beggan over Onana right?
Not even a question.
Not even a question because it's nonsense. I'm looking forward to his Ireland call up during the next international break.
I don't know, Beggan be a lot better under a high ball!

Beggan ten times the keeper, first of all he doesn't shit his cacks at sight of a ball
Fair play to him for turning down all the multi million contracts. Legend.
he wouldn't have made 90% of the mistakes that Onana clown has this year!

I love this delusional sh1te. He wouldn't have a chance to make mistakes as he wouldn't be anywhere near starting a match.

If he was anywhere near good enough, he'd have been scouted and playing lower league stuff.

He's literally gone from GAA to NFL following a combine, hasn't even played a game as far as anyone knows, no need for minor leagues

Don't recall Kevin Moran playing lower league in England prior to Utd

Its hardly much of a leap to say he'd fare better than the other buck eejit

And to think Onana has at least 2 understudies, the must be sort a couple of limbs to be benched for thon

FFS because he can kick a ball far ::)

So now NFL players are better than professional footballers. It is a massive leap, especially considering the Onana's previous season with Inter.

Beggan, like the vast majority of GAA players, would not be good enough. I don't agree his shot stopping would be good enough as he wouldn't have the same ability to read the game and anticipate the danger, especially at the pace modern football is played at.

What's the comparison with the transaction fees vs all the other hidden costs with dealing with cash?

Having to have use 2 staff at a time to lodge cash into a bank account, storing cash until it's lodged, insurance premiums for holding cash on premises and transporting to bank, transport etc.... are all hidden costs that amount up.

No doubt the "payment providers" are making money but then again they are accruing a portion of the risk from electronic payment processing. With cash until it's lodged, then risk is all on the business.

Quote from: AustinPowers on January 24, 2024, 06:27:26 PMSo Jeffrey was  threatened , by  an unnamed person(s).  Very convenient  ::)

So now he's  reduced the heat on himself and Colm  Eastwood even coming  out in support of him.

He should have  turned on the tears as well. That  would have  put the tin hat on it

Threatened by an unknown person who, when he checked hadn't voted!
How can he check if someone voted? I thought that was anonymous?
Can't be an unknown person if he knows them!

Whole thing is a deflection....ironic give  he said he wouldn't be deflected.

No sympathy for him, I don't condone threats, I mean the situation he and the dup are in. Its self made and we are all suffering for their party politics.

The person who didn't vote is wee Seamie I suspect. On the day of the election is was gurning as there was a Rangers game on that day and he was not able to vote,  according to him,  as he was away at the game. The references by wee Jeff and CCH to people on twitter is a clear shot at Bryson.

While I have little sympathy for Donaldson maybe he has grown a pair and publicly now has stood up to the back room bullies. Very pointed sitting in the HoC with all the DUP members in a row expect Junior sitting directly behind wee Jeff in the eye of the camera.

That's it. He's saying the exact thing we've all been saying, Bryson (and the rest) doesn't have a mandate so why are people giving any sort of credence to his incitement. Something he should have called out long ago and called the media out on over the disproportionate amount of coverage afforded to him.

No sympathy, and I suspect whatever happens it's the end of the DUP or any unionist party ever being the biggest party in the North as this will split the unionist/loyalist voting. Cue Stormont up and down while they come to terms with this.

Yes, the Hamas apologists on here will complain and the Israeli apologists want an about turn, but I'm sure a large majority of Irish people are right behind the stance taken by each of Martin, Varadkar and Higgins. The whole Israel is evil, Hamas is evil is simple minded stuff.
that's about it.

If any of the 3 mentioned had any balls they'd take the Claire Daly stance in that speech which was posted here a few days ago. (I don't want to hear her views on anything else before you bring that up)

What is Michelle's and Rishi's stance?

Most of the bugs or so called glitches (I've read about) in the system were things that could have been handled by an experience team. They were not gaps in requirements or processes but simple stuff with existing software design patterns for the root causes.

This is high profile, like Boeing Max MCAS, and rightly everyone is going wtf. I could give multiple examples of where similar amateur shite is happening but you never read about it just the impact doesn't result in death or jail. The finance industry is due a high profile case at some point as some of the stuff I've witnessed is unreal.

The big one for me was how certain people have elevated privileged's or the ability to impersonate another system user, and all without any traceability to do stuff in production systems.

Quote from: whitey on December 19, 2023, 11:24:29 AMIsn't it amazing-we're initially told that there was nothing we could do when people landed at Dublin Airport without proper identification.

Yet whenever we "crackdown" the numbers fall off a Cliff

We? You live in America and contribute f**k all to Ireland.

It's ironic that you want to migrate when you retire, and to a country that you contributed nothing to but yet want the fruits of the society we've built to trickle down to you. It's the same kinda parasitic behaviour of these migrants you give out about  ;D

Quote from: Itchy on December 18, 2023, 11:24:24 AMThis is what you get when you give light touch policing to the far right. We had a riot in Dublin now arson at a hotel. Time to beat these people off the road as I said here months ago

So following that logic people should be able to build whatever they want wherever they want without planning permission

And if anyone objects well-"just beat them off the road "

I find it so ironic that the biggest cheerleaders for open borders, Mary Lou, O Riordain & Co, are the first people to launch objections when they dont want something built in their own backyards because it will impact the local population

Can you explain to us all what you mean by open borders? You keep using this term but as far as I see we don't have open borders nor is anyone saying we should remove all controls.

Maybe it means something different to people who contribute f**k all to Ireland and Irish society ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

45 women held captive.....unbelievable

Not a subscriber so can only read first few lines. Awful, hope the women get the support they need.

 How are Sinn Fein involved?

They support open borders

If the natives didn't pay for it, then there wouldn't be a need to traffic people for sex. Your nonsense is calling out the wrong people.
