If Richard Bruton replaces Enda Kenny so there is now no chance of a Mayo Taoiseach, what are the chances that Johnno will be returned? I can't see it happening, he is going to have to work like crazy over the next two years to be re-elected and where does that leave the senior team.

Only winning Sam could retain his seat I would say!!!

look at enda kenny , winning sam would keep johhno and all his progeny in a seat for perpetuity

Another fáilte from me here for the wide-kickers - we'll show you how it's done.   ;D
Do you mean yer lot can kick/fist/head  more wides than ours? ;D
I didn't think any team would be in our league but fair play to youse if ye score more wides than we surely will.

Hey Lár, we score so little we even cheer our wides.  But we'll be up for a good slaggin' match.   ;)

I'll start.  Hey youse shower, youse think Billy Joe Padden can't kick snow off a rope - wait til youse see our lads.  And Big Niall is warming up (down in Luigis).

fine player , some bolg on him jaysis ,

agree with all here , good draw this , will test us and should be a win , if it is not a win then it will be the loss needed to cause serious reconstruction...

Shtop ye're nonsense!! This is a Micky Mouse game. I think we all know Mayo will win this one. The only two teams worth mentioning in Connacht this year are Galway and Mayo, like Leinster are Dublin and Meath, like Munster are Kerry and Cork and Ulster are Tyrone and Armagh. End of story. Good luck to all.

anyway lads , maybe ye shoudl take this bickering to PM ???

seems to me like obama is on a roll now , he has passed health care , has done a deal with the russians on arms , has just had a successful trip to afghanistan . as a matter of fact if sara palin manages to help republicans do well in the next set of elections it will be a massive boost to him as her getting the republican nomination ahead of a serious candidate like Romney would practically hand him the next four years in office..

Did you see the RTE news last night? Sarah Palin supporters were talking about marching on The White House to 'take him out'.

Amazing how funding wars and proxy wars is not an issue but paying to care for sick Americans is.

she will be the best enemy obama could have asked for.. you heard of reagan democrats , she will create obaba republicans , that changey hopey stuff just started working out for him....

I live abroad but i voted that we will recover and then make the same mistakes all over again.
From what i gather from talking to people at home the general feeling is doom and gloom but lets get on with things and try and get through this.

as for anyone who voted that this is a global thing , i think they need to realise that due to the mistakes made ireland will be a lot slower recovering than most of its EU partners..

Quote from: johnneycool on March 22, 2010, 01:41:04 PMIt's a bit strange that the Bishops in America, Austria and even Germany all reacted to child abuse accusations in the same manner!!

Hmmm its almost as if they were taking orders from the same place.... ???

Whats the story with all the bog/gorse fires in Mayo this week, reports that there was a fire on Bartra island, the Mayo news has pictures from another one out beyond Westport at Currabawn and I saw one last night up near Swinford direction. Surely its too dry and cold for these to be natural.

those feckin "love connacht" protesters  >:(
