When Limerick took the lead and got to 4 points ahead I thought Cork were goners. However Cork clung on and got to within striking distance and Kingston and Horgan did the rest.

No, but this country has some great musicians and singers. The fact that this was the best they could come up with is bonkers.
We sent the band Dervish filled with musicians in 2007, and they stood on stage miming to a back track. Eurovision is about a package of Song, dance, image, originality, a bit of madness and so on.
We have not been entering songs with the right characteristics up to now.
