Are the real United fans on here disappointed with Ashley Young?

He's very frustrating. IMO it was never a pen. He went looking for the penalty - I think the ref gave it as he probably thought that Young wouldn't have the audacity to do that 2 weeks in a row.

The boy is going to get a rep like Suarez has now! No Need!

Still a decent performace, with some nice passing & moves. Don't see why Wellbeck is getting a touch. I think he's going to be a hell of a striker.

Philip Jordan & Seanie Johnstone having a wee go at each other yesterday.

Hard to bate this voyeurism!

Sad to hear this one, however all great things must end. Many memories stick in the mind with Stevie, winning point in AIF, that day in the lightning v Limerick (think it was 3-4 he scored), that ball he caught over his shoulder v Donegal in the semi final in 2003 to score a brilliant goal. How much did Armagh ask of him over the years just humping hail mary balls in on top of him when we needed something and how often did he come up with the goods. A class act.
Good man stevie, enjoy the retirement.

That game in Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon v Limerick... I've never seen a performace like it. He was simply unplayable. I was absolutely soaked & the long wet journey home squeezed into the back seat of my uncles car was well worth it!!

Every year that passes after '02 I think how luck I was to be following Armagh during that generation of footballers.

West Brom seem to play good football... I suppose you can only play to your strengths!?

McKeever kicked a player down the tunnel, got sent off. He was in the wrong. No matter what the provocation you don't react by striking.

It was aleged that he tripped 'a player'. No strike. Yellow card if on the field.

In the same situation myself with three in child seats. Looked at a fair amount of 7 seaters and was tempted by the S Max but fuel economy was poor. Local car dealer gave me an S Max for the day and was only getting about 35-38mpg. Read about the Peugeot 5008 and ended up getting that. So far really happy. Smallish engine at 1.6 but doing 48mpg and has ample power. Got a 2011 model so it has rear parking assist, bluetooth and a few other extras that the 2010 model doesn't have. Loads of room in the back, can fit three full sized car seats across the second row. Can't imagine ever using the two rear seats but they fold down and there is plenty of room for push chairs, etc.

Interesting comments phpearse - thanks.

So is the new Peugeot any more reliable than French cars would have a reputation for?

Wash your mouth out Smokin'... My wee Peugot 306 had over 190k miles on it when i sold it. Great wee motor!

I spoke with a few Killeavy lads at the weekend and they said Stevie is not even training with their senior team at the minute, if that's the case then i doubt he's any intention of coming back to Armagh...

On McKeever...is there any point in even discussing it as it's done now and judging by recent appeals on Armagh players then he's going to serve a double ban (2nd time off this year)

Stevie's wife give birth to their new son Cahir yesterday. I'd imagine it'll be a few week's before (and if) he decides to return to training. He should be fairly fit anyways, isn't he personal training in Newry?

I will always remember McKeever's victory speech in Casement after Armagh won the U21 championship  :-[

Was the Ulster final in Casement that year? The AI final was in Breffni.

I still think McKeever saved wee Pete that day... sure all them big fellas could have stood on him.

He is as dirty a player as there is at present. Always getting sneeky, dirty digs in. Good to see him off.

You still haven't quite forgiven him from saving wee Peter, when he pulled him out of that scufuffle in '05!!  ;)

I've never heard of a pest worm...

Get yourself some Westland's weed feed and moss killer.

It turns your grass white for a few days (stay off the grass or you'll have footprints everywhere.)

Then it goes black... it's killing the bad stuff. & then the grass comes thick & fast inside 2 weeks. Keep your mower handy... you'll need it!

Pogba opts to stay... seems the last few weeks have been agent posturing.
