First post on this board in a month boys that's a bad sign. Maybe a good sign that Fermanagh people are too busy working but I doubt it.
A few St Pats boys have told me that Mickey Culbert has agreed to manage them for the next year, bit of a shock that one? Will he make much of a difference?
Does anyone know if he is actually a good manager or what style of manager he is?

GAA Discussion / Re: 20 Questions

1. Why your user name
explains itself
2. Favourite all time game
Fermanagh v Armagh, All-Ireland quarter-final 2004, unbelievable! Still have to put the video on every so often to confirm that it wasn't all just a mad dream
3. Favourite all time player from your county
Barry Owens, clearly a brilliant player and would walk into almost every other county team
4. Favourite other poster on gaaboard.com.
Tough one. I'm only here abd getting to know the crowd, from what I see it would be easier to list posters I'm not a fan of.
5. Things you'd like to see change on the site.
Less people here just on the wind up, it just wrecks the discussion. f**k up and go to Hoganstand
6. Player from another county you admire.
Brian McGuigan, creative genius, great to watch
7. Dual players. Should they be allowed do both (why/ why not)
Yes, should play both. The GAA owe it to men with such heart and committment for our games.
8. Dublin Hurling, IS there hope? *question for dubs
Doubt it
9. Best Moment of the year?
Ciaran McDonald breaking Dub's hearts, love the underdog, sadly that was the end of the All-Ireland race though
10. Worst moment of the year?
The All-Ireland final and the International Rules, both terrible advertisements for the GAA
11. Breasts or bum?
Breasts
12. Breaking ball or park live?
Wish i knew, only seen Park Live once, never Breaking Ball
13. (Situation) Cork v Meath (if from Meath Cavan V Dublin) in an All-ireland final. You have to shout for one or your head will explode. What do you do? *question for dubs
N/A
14. DJ Or Eoin Kelly
DJ, for his love of the game
15. What  your own county needs to do to win Sam next year?
Find a few powerful scoring forwards
16. How do you stop (legally, Meath lads) Kieran Donaghy
Barry Owens
17. Hopes for 2007.
Ulster title for county, even a provincial final, the draw has fucked that up though.
18. Who will win Sam in 2007.
Tyrone
19. Who will win Liam in 2007.
Cork
20. Your Gaaboard resolution for 2007.
Post more and avoid being dragged into bullshit exchanges

Afraid it's back to Casement this Sunday, seen the fixtures press release and both games set for Casement on Sunday. First game 12.15pm, ref JJ Cleary (Derry), and senior final 2pm, ref J McQuillan (Cavan)

I've heard a lot of people calling for Paul Brewster to be given a chance with the county again, is this a serious possibility? was he not struggling to make the Gaels team before the county final? is Stevie Maguire 100% does anybody know, he could be a massive addition again
ps thank god the Rory Gallagher debate for us will be over, he's a total waste of talent but he is a total arrogant arsehole, did anyone see the photo's of him in the local paper - typical him on the field with the water bottle running it through his hair and flicking his neck back, the man's a disaster for morale and spirit on any team, Cavan are welcome to him.

Lisnaskea pitch has a reputation of being a bit of a mudbath if the weather is really bad, particularly along one side under the small stand. Theres a few hundred covered seats for spectators and the parking shouldn't be a problem beside the pitch.
Enniskillen are just right to be appealing last week's game. I'm not a fan of the Gaels at all but it's a joke the influence some bad refereeing is having on major games in the GAA, let alone club games. The appeals process is an even bigger joke though, this whole system is going to seriously blow up on the GAA soon

In Fermanagh you have the two newspapers, one traditionally Protestant and the other Catholic. The traditional Catholic paper, the Fermanagh Herald have really let their standard slip, names photos even teams have been mixed up constantly, but still everyone will by in for tradition alone, and the club notes section - could do much more though. Colm Bradley has a column there now but it's not up to much at all.
Impartial Reporter has improved dramatically, particularly it seems since the success of 2004. Photos are excellent and previews etc a much better read despite Protestant background.

Rory Gallagher got 3-9 against Monaghan a few years back, shows what a waste of talent the man is!
