I noticed at the closing ceremony Rory went for the EU flag while GMAC favoured the NI flag.  The only Tricolour on show was round Molinari's shoulders!

Earlier in the celebrations Rory was wearing a Euro flag. Then OWC's Stephen Watson was seen in the background walking past.  Lo and behold in the next shot Rory had a NI flag.

Oh probably just a coincidence.

St Galls continue to fly the flag for football in Antrim - thats what it basically means. Credit where its due.

It means they won a 7s competition, what I said is you can't read anything into how St Galls will go for the rest of the season on the strength of this, it's 7s ffs.

What do the Cushendall posters think about their demise yesterday? Is it a transitional time for them, probably Karl McKeegans last year, hard to replace experience like that if it is.

Dunloy could almost have scored a goal every time they attacked. Can't believe how bad cushendall were. It was only 6 on the scoreboard but was more in reality.

One of cushendall's goals happened in the first minute or two as well when the Dunloy keeper stepped back over the line.

Cushendall defence a pale shadow of what it was a few years ago. Keeper not as reliable as he once was either.

Not that surprised looking back at it, Cushendall beat Glenariffe by a goal last season in the QF, St Galls by a pt in the semi, people are reading too much into them running Loughgiel close. It was a poor final but Loughguile improved beyond all recognition after that, does anyone think Cushendall had that progression in them if they had beat Loughguile??

They have McManus, Graffin and Shane mcNaughton but the rest are average enough. Results don't lie. Dunloy will be a very dangerous proposition for Loughgiel but Shamrocks should edge it.

I know a number of clubs where police officers play hurlin and to be honest the players were well known  as police officers and they were never treated any different.

Out of curiosity, how many clubs do you know where there are police officers playing ?

Can't agree with you, ITG. St. Galls have better backs than Justin Crozier and Tony Scullion. In fact, Crozier has gone backwards IMO. Sean Kelly, Brady, Anto Healy and Andy are all as good. There isn't a great deal between Mick McCann and Aidso Gallagher. Conor, Kevin and Kieran McGourty, Niblock and Pollock are all as good if not better than Tomas, on their day.

St. Galls have by far the better footballers.

Tomas McCann is a proven inter county player, Kieran and Kevin McGourty are not, nor is Pollock.
