any word of who was playin for either/both teams?

Think Jason Brown did nets for Clonduff, Aidan Carr was there too and your fella O'Reilly who went to the college can't remember his first name. Didn't see Longstone team.

Before you crown Beyonce or that other wan I think you should check out Rammsteins new video. But make sure the kids and maybe your wife are out of the room. It is however a terrible song.

VERY NWS LINK, DO NOT CLICK IF EASILY OFFENDED BY NUDITY

Just another memory of Swayze

My favourite song from Dirty Dancing by a mile. Going to have to see this Roadhouse you are all talking about. I had a lot of time for him, loved a lot of his films and seemed a good lad. RIP

Bringing back painful memories of seven of us squeezing into a five berth caravan in Bundoran/Butlins with the rain pelting down, counting down the days to go home!

If you have kids don't put them through it Norf.

Maybe they have and fair play to them if they have.

Is there much emphasis put on freshers football in colleges? Never hear about it.

I'm assuming Jordanstown will be favourites this year?

Whenever I was there the freshers was took very seriously, but mainly from the freshers themselves, obviously everything is put on the back burner when it comes down to the Holy Grail aka the Sigerson...

Would say the Poly would have to be favourites this year if they have taken on the four players mentioned earlier in the thread... Odds normally come out once the Ryan Cup / McKenna Cup have been cleared up, will be interesting, as will the Ryan Cup.

No from the point of view that colleges,  bar a select few are doing anything in their power to get the players they want where academic results dont matter.

Is the rulings still in place that freshers cannot play Sigerson?

Heard on the grapevine that Dan Goulding, Paul Kerrigan, Charlie Vernon and Sean O'Neill are all new additions to the Poly this year  :o

Is this true?

Think there could be a way around this rule as it could be interpreted you can only play for ONE team, not both freshers and Sigerson... So some people could skip playing for the freshers and go straight into the Sigerson...

By the way, how do you know what results these people got in their tests?

i'd be very suprised if Vernon played ball for the Poly, he took his queens football very serious.

As did James McGovern and others... If he is going to the Poly to do a masters and had the offer of getting free accommodation and what not you think he would turn it down and miss out on playing Sigerson for a year which he clearly loves?

Who did you hear was for St Mary's Orangeman?

Minder / Illdecide

How did yous get on ?

Heading there in a few weeks

Yes, very good. The rides were class and just brought the kid back out of me, i loved the rides more than the kids did. We stayed in the Sykia Lodge (i know thats not the real spelling) but it was right at the resort so no Taxi's. The food is wild expensive so we as noted b4 at breakfast time filled the backpacks with Crossants, rolls and choc chip rolls which done lunch and then had a meal that evening. We also used the swimming pool everynight for an hour which the kids loved too...so all in all it was a worth while trip and I'd go back again in a year or two...

On a negative point we flew with them tramps Ryanair from Dublin to some airport in the asshole of nowhere and it cost us 90 Euros there and 90 back to the resort plus the 90 min journey, so if you can fly into Paris main airport (Charles de Gall) i know thats not how u spell that either but couldn't be bothered looking it up it would save you a lot of hassle.

Enjoy your trip

Beauvais Airport?? Theres a cheap shuttle thing you can get, if you book in advance you get it particularly cheap.

Would assume this thread:

would be used and TYP would just change the thread title...

So Cross, Ballinderry and Mayobridge now all out. Whoever wins this Gaelic Life pick the county winners competition will have made some god choices, think it could come down to runners up etc.

Who'd be the favourites for the Armagh SFC now lads?

The Og's would have to be. They were second in the btting anyway after Cross and now with beating them they would have to be hot favourites.

What subs did Cross bring on?
