Ronaldino missed penalty in injury time. Milan wouldn't score if they played until this time tomorrow.

Keeper was a mile off his line.

That's some hammering Donagh got today! I'd say Rory Gallagher will be grand when he gets some more game time. He's been on the go at club level for the last 9 or 10 months, he must be pretty wrecked at this stage.

Great result for the boys today, that's three wins on the trot, not bad, even if it's only the McKenna Cup.

Line up today was;

R Gallagher, Bogue, Lyons, M O'Brien, R Keenan, P Sherry, Mulrone, T McElroy, Jones, Kelly, O'Flaherty, Gormley, P Ward, C O'Brien, Connolly.

I think most United fans saw that the light when Ferguson didn't invest the Ronaldo money into buying new players. Does he realistically believe that we'll accept his asserations that the squad was strong enough without Ronaldo? Another thing that is bugging me is the price of the tickets, especialy when the price can only be jusitied by the club as being needed to service the huge outstanding debts. I live in Manchester but simply can't afford to go to more than 5 or 6 home games each season. It's a complete joke. Normal fans are being priced out of Premiership football thanks to the Glazers.

Vidic wants to be gone, rooney would like to play i Spain and was nearly gone last season apparently, why do players not want to stay at OT?

Is ferguson that bad or is it the premiership?

I can't see Rooney ever leaving England. He is very close to his family in Merseyside and his brother plays down the road in Macclesfield.

The next few years (if he stays that is) are going to be toughest in Ferguson's reign. Given the debt of over £700M, the only real option is to be bought over by the Arabs. United sold their soul a long time ago to the Glazer family, being owned by a billionaire in the middle east will not be any worse than the current situation.

I've a feeling Arlene Foster could get the job if Peter Robinson goes. She seems to be pretty good at her job even if she doesn't always come across the best on the TV. Please God don't let Sammy Wilson get it though!

Day 2 of no water in the flat. Pipes have been frozen since Wednesday night. It hasn't got above freezing all week. I quite enjoyed the novelty of the weather at the start but my patience is wearing then at this stage!

So, it's the All-Britain final at the weeknd, John Mitchels V Dunedin Connollys. How strong are the Scottish lads this season? Do they stand much chance of stopping Mitchel's in their quest to land another title?

The Gaels were never going to get a neutral ref this evening, but they should never have been in this position in the first place. I suspect that there will be several retirements now. As Caid said, Clucker was apparently terrific tonight, a player of his quality should not be playing in Division 2.

Very disappointing, I hear the referee was terrible, but that's no real excuse. We've been poor all year. I suppose the rebuilding starts now.
