I wouldn't think so, this will be a sell out.
There's talk about them putting on a second show

Feile has been run quite well actually.
And always a right few free tickets knocking about.
:)

I got tickets for Paddy McDonnell and Jason Manford.
Free tickets?  I don't mind paying in the see the Kaiser Chiefs, tickets are only £25 plus ticketmaster's fee, but I'm damned if Ill be the only fecker in the place who actually parted with money to get in

Can't wait til this all comes to Casement.

Although we've already had the greed, lies and poor management there.
You'll not have to wait that long. Kaiser Chiefs play Falls Park on 9 August. Hope to be there

They're not Brazil, they're Northern Ireland

Seems simple to me. GAA promised local residents no more than 3 concerts per year, then welshed on that agreement as soon as Peter Aiken waved a fat cheque under its nose. Fair play to the residents for standing up for themselves. It's tough on people who've made travel arrangements and will be out of pocket as a result. Maybe they should seek compensation from the Grab All Association?
I love people like you. Do you not realise that the GAA belongs to all of us? The money generated from Fat Boys concerts would have helped build changing rooms, football fields etc for cash strapped clubs. It's a disgrace that this income is being lost and it's worse that people like you have attitudes like you have
On another man's wound, blood money from dirty shyster bastids at the head of our association.

Keep it.

Filth
You never disappoint. You strike me as being one of life's under achievers who spends his life wallowing in self pity and begrudging anyone who has done anything with their life

What would happen in Ardoyne on Saturday if there were no police or no media present?

I'd say either a bloodbath or nothing at all.
you would struggle to find 2 wider extremes than these
#27
You would. You'd also be lobbying for things like street lighting etc

So a man wants to come into Ireland and put on a show. He sells out for 5 nights. He is told he can only do 3 which will mean the local economy will lose out on tens of millions in the middle of a resession. All to keep a few locals happy. Mean while people who have no interest in the show think it is a great laugh to see others disappointed and millions of euros lost. How typically Irish.  :-\
For the first time in my life I agree with you. Don't get me wrong I hate Garth Brooks with a vengeance but each to their own. As I said earlier a few local bullies misuse a position of strength just because they can

I'm convinced Fred must have caught Big Phil shagging sheep. There's no other explanation as to why he's still being kept on the park

Questions:
What level of noise pollution are there from these concerts?
I think it very much depends on who's playing. If it was say the Rolling Stones  or the Killers anything over 100 decibels would be considered unacceptable. As regards Garth Brooks I'd assume anything above 2 or 3 decibels would be pretty intolerable
