Agree that O'Neill park shouldn't be getting any semis. Would have preferred Carrickmore for our game tbh.
Is there anything in the pipeline to renovate it?
Or has this been put on the long finger? Seen it referenced here and there but no hard plans.

Seen on Planning NI that they had planning passed in August for demolishing the current clubhouse and replacing it with a new club room

Updated fixtures now on the Tyrone wedsite for Div 1 and 2. Any refined games are to be played on 6th Sept (both starred I believe) with Round 8 being played on Sunday 9th

I see donghmore conceded a u14 championship final last night, after they had already won the feile earlier in the year. Extremely poor form

I don't think it's as simple as they conceded a Championship final. Their facebook had the following up yesterday:

"Please be advised that Donaghmore are unable to fulfil tonight's U14 Final fixture against Ardboe. This is due to missing several players and management due to holidays. In May/June we realised we would be missing 8 players (5 league final starters and 3 subs) and two managers on this date due to holidays and other commitments.

We requested to play both finals in same week pre-holidays but Ardboe could not agree, due to a hectic schedule already including the All-Ireland Feile. Instead, both clubs agreed to play the league final pre-holidays and the Championship final in September. However, Ardboe and County board have now stated that they wish for the final to go ahead tonight, as originally fixed.

Therefore, we have no option but to forfeit the game. To supporters and parents of players, please be assured we have done everything we can over the past 2 weeks to get this game moved but to no avail.

We will continue to work with Ardboe and the County Board to resolve this issue, as I'm sure both clubs would want the final to take place."

I don't see the decision to concede a Grade 1 championship would be taken lightly, especially as they were going for the double over Ardboe.

Donaghmore missing N.McKenna & D.McCaul for the Kildress game? With momentum behind them you'd have to fancy the Tones but then again Donaghmore have the experience in recent times in these play offs!

Never heard Donaghmore were missing McCaul but heard McKenna has missed last 4 or 5 games. Kildress were impressive v the rocks on Friday night - good mixture of youth and experience and this will be a tight game. Not sure about the comment regarding Donaghmore and previous play off experience as they haven't been in any for a while (they are normally safe at this stage ;))

McKenna is done for the year after getting ankle surgery. McCaul played against the Clarkes but his brother Sean didn't. Kildress were very impressive against the rocks on Friday. Moved the ball very fast and took some impressive scores. Donaghmore played well against a disappointing Clarkes team but a confident Kildress team will provide a completely different test.

Have to agree with other posters that the team coming up usually has the momentum to win. Kildress have nothing to lose and if they can get Treacy and McGurk firing I think we'll see them in Division 1 next year.

Any word of fixtures for next weekend or will we have to wait on the Irish News tomorrow?

County website has been updated today to show that all postponed fixtures will be squeezed in before the 1st round of the championship so all teams will have played the required 5 games. This weekend is round 3 (the round postponed for the under 21 final), then the following weekend Coalisland v Trillick and Clonoe v Donaghmore are being played after being called off for unplayable pitches a few weeks ago.

Rory Brennan to start on mc Hugh and joe mc Mahon and mc Shane in also. First hand source ;)

Who do they replace? Tierney and McCann?

I believe they will replace McCann and McNulty. Both likely to be used as impact subs

The days of dummy teams appear to be over with these new rules taking affect for this weekend.

I thought in the McKenna cup final v Cavan he was very sharp and direct with a great turn of pace, any time he turned his man and headed straight for goal he looked dangerous, am I thinking of a different McKenna cup game or is this the same night he scored the goal?

Has he played for Donaghmore so far in the league?

McKenna has played both games. Scored 1-4 against Errigal operating from full forward.

Fuzzman, Sean Cavanagh returned to action against Dungannon last Sunday. Heavily strapped leg and seemed to lack a bit of match fitness but still had enough to help Moy come away with a massive 2pts.

Don't know about England but BBC Red Button content is shown on Sky channel 980 in NI. That way you can record the final.
