No yearraing from me, I just cant see where we (mayo) are going to get the scores from. Even with the matchups Tyrone have probably 2 Mayo forwards to quieten, Tommy C and Ryan. Tommy has great potential but only really lets loose in 5 to 10 minute bursts and then only really when in CHF, he can easily be bottled up in the corner. Ryan will bust his arse all day but does like to take 2 or 3 lads on and Tyrone will love that.

That's the way I see it also. I can't see Mayo scoring any more than 0.12 or 0.13. That's being optimistic also and I just don't see that as being enough. On O'Shea he's not the talisman for Mayo any more and he's now just a marginal selection. Because of that I don't see the article as being all that significant. There is probably a fair chance he will be left out if Mayo are at full strength.

At full strength the captain doesn't make the team?

Begorra there would be riots if Hasselhoff didn't make the cut

Granted I'm not a big ROI fan but you'd imagine Kenny is on borrowed time. 1 win 15. It's not the LOI anymore.

https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soccer/international/ken-early-ireland-supporters-must-be-patient-with-stephen-kenny-s-team-1.4665663

It's the sort of result you can expect when you have won five of your last 31 competitive matches. Wales (without Gareth Bale), Gibraltar (x2), Georgia and Moldova: that's the entire list of teams Ireland have beaten since the start of 2017. On and off the pitch, we'll get nowhere without patience.

Over a 4 year period between 1968 and 1971 the BIG didn't win a single match. Things can get a lot worse before they get worse.
A good result for this group would be a win over Azerbaijan  and revenge over Luxembourg.

Come back Brian Kerr all is forgiven!!
The Luxemburgers are there for the taking lol, I genuinely think the Dubs would beat that lot.
RIP Irish groundball.
Last one out switch off the lights.

I worry for Mayo when I see the article Aidan O Shea just allowed himself to be part off in the Sunday World this weekend. It shows a lack of focus and a lack of respect for his team mates and manager. I think they are amazingly (and I mean amazingly for Mayo having lost so many finals) taking Tyrone for granted.

Was a truly shambolic effort and likely to come back to haunt him

Griezman away back to Atletico on loan. Feck how much did Barca spunk away in him, Dembele and Countinho? I realize I could Google this but couldn't be arsed

400mil? Im guessing, i couldnt be arsed either

Greizmann £117m
Dembele £121.5m
Coutinho £121.5m

:o :o :o

Complete lunacy, the kind of shit that makes me think behind the scenes football is just a form of evolved narcos and reckon a lot of this carry on is washing dirty money

Ronaldo to Citeh is heating up.

Him to City and Messi to PSG highlights further how much this game has sold its soul.

CL final of City v Chelsea was the cherry on the icing of that particular cake

I suggest if you're interested in groundball support or get involved at grassroots level where real people can be found

Whats going on at the top level is narcos level bullshit

Weddings have big spreaders in the Castlewellan area, the executive needs to curtail these numbers. Its getting out of control. Also why the f**k are people having 2nd-day wedding parties with djs and the likes. f**king wise up

Kind what i was thinking re Ulster Final in Croke
Pulling tens of thousands of extra people to Dublin unnecessarily
Game should have been in Ulster with the relevant attendance in place, but it seems an extra £300,000 to the coffers took precedent

It was some kind of blood capsule or something. I think it was a bit more refined than red sauce but same principle lol.

Got in a lot of trouble for it too.
Did they not take it 1 a stage further and actually cut the player in the privacy of the changing room?

Cahir O'Kane has suggested that regardless of player welfare concerns Tyrone should have fielded this weekend whether players were suffering from Covid or not. Jesus wept, pray such fcuktards get removed from active society

What a tube - trying to make a name for himself by being controversial.

Better to read the article for yourself and not listen to Fr Jack's drunken ramblings

Can someone post it please. No doubt there is a reasonable debate to be had on that topic. How can 35 grant funded players be justified if you are gonna concede because a few front line men are ill (speculating here as the exact breakdown hasn't been put out). Don't the other 20+ get on with the job at hand and if needed pull a few in from the club scene to top up the bench? So you have a fella in mind for the 2022 season and you pull him in 6 months early, how's that any different to Ruairi Sludden or Colm McCullagh joining the panel mid season previously

I think someone returning to a panel is fair enough, but you would need to be careful with pulling younger "star" players in. The conditioning at senior level is a big step up. You can imagine the outcry if you pulled up a 20 year old and he got seriously injured.
I think it's a case of which was the easier and more sensible thing to do. Did it cause the GAA that much pain to move it back another week? I think this was the simple, fair and straightforward option.

Jes ye wouldn't get out of bed in the morning if ye took that approach to life. So Tyrone pull 3 or 4 star "23yos" and Colm Cav and Padraig McNulty back into the panel. For me that's easier than a fixture reschedule impacting tens of thousands of people.

Sorry I know its easy to be facetious, but just trying to be devils advocate. Anyway my prediction is this plays out again in the Tyrone club champ and the Tyrone CB who would stand by the county not fielding in an AI semi final turn around and tell clubs to get on with it or be put out of the competition... time will tell.

Come on Tiempo get with the times lol

County train maybe 3 times a week, thats 2 teams at adult level.

A club has underage right the way up to senior to cater for. Seniors train 2/3 times a week. How many pitch minutes do all these add up to.

Then club may have hurling, camogie, ladies football.

So 1 base is a must!

Plus Antrim hasn't an abundance of grounds with floodlights either.

Tyrone won 3 AI without a centre of excellence and 0 since it was opened

Pitch minutes is the right way of looking at it, there are pitches everywhere being underutilised

Yeno what'll happen, a centre of excellence will be built, next thing this high performance team will need a weekend retreat to Cork or Malaga for warm weather training, or some other local venue/pursuit will come into vogue like cryotheraphy chambers at a few hundred pound a pop, and the players won't be at the centre at all

Down did plenty of running up mountains to win their AI, not a county sec making phone calls in sight

Just blows my mind this insatiable need to spunk millions all over the place

Invest in coaching excellence

I genuinely don't understand the county centre of excellence thing so many counties have invested in

County teams need somewhere to train

County has scores of clubs with an abundance of facilities

Its not rocket science
