Lost their first 3 and two of them were against fintona and Naomh eoghan who you'd expect to be around the bottom of the division. Even though they won against Naomh eoghan, When's the last time cookstown were even considered a mid table intermediate team? I can't think of another club who have been relegated and promoted as much as them over the last 10 years or so. Especially considering the quality and numbers they have had in youth football. Then the likes of gortin, aghyaran and Owen roes with a lot less numbers are able to compete in division 2 for years and aghyaran obviously at the top end of the table.
Townie teams innit. Hard to keep them at it. Don't know what you'll get from one week to the next.
Stewartstown hardly a townie team as the vast majority of the players come from the local rural area. Might as well call Moortown a townie team while your at it.
If the Harps seniors don't pick up any points against Kildress and especially Drumragh at home in the next 2 games then it's probably bottom 2.
