GAA Discussion / All Ireland prelim QFs

Starting to get a clearer picture of what the games will look like. Second team in each group will host a third-place team.

So far we have the following at home

Tyrone

Louth (Unless they beat Kerry tomorrow, then Kerry second in that group)
Armagh/Galway loser, with Galway if a draw tomorrow
Mayo (unless they beat Dublin tomorrow, then Dublin second in that group)

And they'll play...

Derry
Monaghan/Meath winner tomorrow, Monaghan if a draw
Roscommon
Cork

*There is a chance of Monaghan finishing second in their Group and Louth finishing third...for that to happen the margin of Monaghan's victory when added to the margin of Louth's defeat must exceed 20.

From a Tyrone perspective we'll likely be playing Derry, Monaghan (assuming they beat Meath) and Roscommon. I'd be looking Derry to light the fire and create a cracker of a game.

Draw takes place Monday morning.

Edit for completeness...Mod5

Neil Neilan going to act the bollix today

Cork 4pts 4+
Donegal 2pts +5
Tyrone 2pts +7

Going to be an exciting finish to the group in 2 weeks. If Tyrone can beat Cork and stay within 2 points of Donegal's score (assuming they beat Clare) then we'll top the group.

Cork just have to Draw and they top the group

Donegal need a win and beat Tyrone's score by 1 and they'll take it on the top spot (assuming tyrone beat cork)

Tyrone / Re: Tyrone County Football and Hurling

Genuinely no sign of any form of structured attack outside of hoping Canavan or McCurry come up with some magic. If we come up against a packed defence we are totally clueless. That was a real sickener this evening.

That was brutal, dirty action.

Their last song release also my favourite. Dave Ghrohl also says this was his top nirvana song.

Is that a Jewish cover band for the Boss?

Autocorrect obviously a part of the zionist elite 🤣

Can you imagine how good this game could have been if they decided to play a decent brand of football? The score taking has been unreal but despite that the enjoyability of the football is pathetic.

I know McGuinness wouldn't give a f**k about that but I really hope the football review group implement some form of strategy to negate this anti football shite.

f**k this is shite, playing against Donegal is now just a game of defenders v attackers. There have been some class scores but no jeopardy in the game, hardly any 50/50 contests and zero atmosphere.

TG4 just shown the clip to Paul Devlin at the end and looks like McHugh did throw some sort of dig towards a Rossie on the way out before the melee. Didn't look to be anything in it but bit silly all the same considering what's at stake.

On a separate note, good from tg4 to be able to show these to managers whilst being interviewed. Gives an interesting angle on it.

What did Ruari McHugh do for that red?? Surely he couldn't miss an all Ireland final for that??

Game over now

Is there an argument to say the loser of Mayo/Galway would be at an advantage in the group stages?
