Any thoughts on This weekends games. I'm picking a few bets out at the minute.

Theres a bit of Value in GAA, by watching teams strengths and recognising weakness. Ive had two 5/2 singles this year get up.

Post your bets.

General discussion / Super/Hyper Cars

I am posting this to see if I can produce any results on here for this plan.
I'm involved in organising a fund raising event for someone who is trekking the arctic for Children In Crossfire.
As a Fund raising Idea, we want to assemble a large collection of some of the most exotic cars in the world, and for £5 (more for some cars) take a spin in the car with a driver.
The idea is to have R8's Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Jaguars and more at the event so that people have a good choice.

Basically what I'm asking here is if anyone on here has a car that may be of interest to the public, and If I can borrow it and yourself if possible in mid Down for a day. Petrol will be provided for you and refreshments and all the rest.

All help greatly appreciated
Cheers

Anyone with 2 football final tickets after 2 Hurling. They are 10 year seats so looking for someone in a similar situation who can swap in person in Dublin on matchday, or Belfast/ Ballynahinch area before that.
They are great seats as I watched Kilkenny Waterford last year from them. Cusack Lower, 21 yard line. 1st seat on the left as you come out of the tunnel.

Anyone see it. About protestants playing gaelic games?

Great for the games!

But I have to say on the orgainisers part maybe they could have told them not to wear Rangers/Linfield shirts, give them antrim shirts maybe and get them into the areas (maybe that wouldnt be responsible) anyway, think they should have worn casual clothes as it's a bit controversial, I think myself they may have been told to wear them so it would be painfully obvious on TV

Looks interesting.

Some good savings. And the Juvenile one for the football is €20, seems a great deal.

GAA Discussion / Championship Songs

As the championship is off and running and gatherin pace...  songs that remind you of great days out, or the championship in general.

Anybody got a favourite?
I can't think of any that stick out. Early snow Patrol as BBC don't seem to believe in any other bands for their sports reports! The Championship opening scene.

One of the sounds that sticks out is the tune before and after adds on RTE radio sunday sport.

GAA Discussion / Mark is needed
April 16, 2009, 11:03:35 AM
Watching Down and Armagh last night I saw some brilliant fielding from Down (highly unusual) but most times hindered by landing with 3 armagh men around them with nowhere to go and a ref that hadn't heard of 2nd man tackle. I just though if there was a mark introduced between the 2 45's it would revive the art of a catch which seems to have died.
