Not Eglish's fault that the other two teams and supporters could not behave themselves in Gortacladdy.

When in Rome I suppose.

For what its worth I think Eglish would have took Omagh or Derrylaughan regardless.

Is this going to be a recurring theme with Omagh now that they are going to appeal EVERYTHING that goes against them.

:o very good final whistle.  Pick on the poor oul tones again.  I think if you look at our disciplinary record down the years it aint too bad, dunno where this rep came from.  Funny all the same so well done!

The rules in place for this show that there was to be home advantage for one team over another for 2nd/3rd place from bottom.

Aghyaran had home advantage. Game ended in a draw.

The rules in place in the event of a draw say that the replay is to be at a neutral venue.

In fairness Orangeman our club checked with the county board and there are no rules for this circumstance.  I can see why the game would be at a neutral venue but as Radda has quite rightly pointed out why Gortin.  Give that there are numerous pitches of vastly superior quality to Gortins (Loughmacrory would spring to mind immediately) why is it being played there.  Could it be that such a pitch may suit Aghyarn better and they may have more influence than Kildress in the county board.  Not that 'm into conspiracy theories or anything ;-)

was the last round of league games  not meant to be played together? very vry dissapointed in carrickmore and their big tradition (of throwin points apparently)

Must've missed that chapter in 'The Carrickmore Tradition'.

A team fighting for survival versus a team who were just beaten in a county final and with no league playoff. Hardly a shock.

Why don't you look at the round of league results from 25 Sept before you pick out one team for a whinge. Bottom clubs had plenty of opportunities to pick up points all year.

not a shock as it was sorted a fortnight ago that the game was being thrown. at least if kildress go down we'll know that we played the thing out with no help from others

Aygharan 1-10
Kildress 2-7
Referee: Martin Sludden

I have heard reports that Trillick v Coalisland which was to be played this Friday will be postponed.

I thought the ref done an excellent job controlling what could have been a potentially difficult game.  He has improved greatly over the last couple of years and deserves his big game on Sunday.  Why would this match be postponed?

Moy 1.5 killyclogher 0.10 in  senior league  tonight in moy

I predict Moy to go into freefall now, a terrible showing in the championship, beat at home a week later in a game they should have been winning, its probably a good job they got those 10 league pts early on...

They were missing the county men in this game so i expected them to get beaten by more.  Can't see them going into freefall they'll pick up enough points for mid table repectability

What an opportunity for Kildress and Galbally.  Both sides will fancy their chances and for the winners theyre in a semi-final and anything can happen after that, unlikely as it may be!
