Our popular quiz is back with a first prize of Eu300 and seven runners-up prizes of Eu50 each. The winner will be the person with the most correct answers or in the case of a tie, the winner and seven runners-up will be drawn from a hat. Every effort has been made to avoid ambiguity and no further clarification can be given. Any callers will be disqualified! Only one entry is allowed per household and the editors decision is final. The closing date for entries is 28th February 2007 and all winners will be notified. Answers will be posted on www.hoganstand.com and published in the April 2007 edition of Hogan Stand magazine. Mullahoran is not on the Meath border. Believe me, I live right beside it and I know! It borders Mullinalaghta and Abbeylara in County Longford, as well as Ballymachugh, Lacken and Gowna in County Cavan, going anti-clockwise from west. Meath only comes in on the far side of Lough Sheelin.

The third one is definitely Maghera - on the road between Virginia and Carnaross.

Yes Tony the answer to Q2 is PJ Carroll.... some debate on the cavan website.
There has been other temporary cavan men involved (Damien O'Reilly and Donal Donohoe have taken charge of the blues for a couple of games) but PJ Carroll we reckon is the man they are looking for.
