Title: Irish Cottages
Post by: joebloggs on June 14, 2007, 12:53:11 AM
Anyone know any places to go in ireland where you can just rent out a cottage or two for a week or so. Self catering with plenty to do nearby?

Rented a house in between Newport and Westport for the August bank hol weekend 2 years ago. Was well out into the countryside but v nice. Don't have the contact details but there are plenty of houses around there and if you go closer to newport than westport and a few miles away from the sea, the price comes down a lot.

Spent a week with the family in a house in Doonbeg last year.
Nice house and easy reach of Kilkee, Ennis, Cliffs, Ailwee Caves, Arran Islands, Nth Kerry  and lots more

I've just used those guys to book a house in west Cork. They're quite good.
