According to GAA.ie the 1985 team was:
1985 - All Ireland Senior Football Championship - Dublin
J. O'Leary, M. Kennedy, G. Hargan, R. Hazley, P. Canavan, N. McCaffrey, D. Synnott, J. Roynane, B. Mullins (capt.), B. Rock, T. Conroy, C. Redmond, J. Kearns, J. McNally, K. Duff. Subs: T. Carr for Redmond; P. J. Buckley for B. Mullins.
I suspect he's asking if Mullins was moved into the half back line. I doubt it myself unless something happened McCaffrey?
I've just checked the Irish Times digital archive and found that at half time Brian Mullins moved to right corner forward switching places with John Kearns.
Fair play Hill. Question answered.
Mullins started in midfield on Jack O'Shea, but got swapped with John Kearns as someone posted already and then taken off at halftime I think. Jacko was at his imperious best that day and had 1-3 or something got by halftime. Mullins in fairness was well past his best and it was a miracle he even played again after the massive car crash he was in.

I was at the game but I can't remember when he was taken off – however, according to the newspaper reports it was midway through the second half.
Reading the reports again brings back memories of one hell of a game.
I remember the game well. What a legend Mullins was.
