How can a team that reached the League Cup Final,beating mediocre Premiership clubs like Villa and Arsenal on the way,lose their semi final first leg divisional play off tie at home to Burton Albion?

Because they scored less goals than Burton  ::)

Well,they pit it right today.Surely the visit to Wembley earlier in the season will stand them in good stead for the final.
