Hi, having problems with finding good keeper hurls. Many seem to be too heavy, due to size of bas or break easily just through pucking out.
Any suggestions on and good keeper hurls about, thanks.
Davy Fitz used to use a barn door. I don't know what joinery he used to get them from.

Davy Fitz's barn door in operation, maybe Cummins should have been given one to stop his penalty..
Davy had more hurls than a golfer's golf bag has clubs. He had a pucking out hurley, a regular goalie hurley, a frying pan bás penalty stopping hurley, a penalty taking hurley etc. I think he had a special 'run out and beat the ballax off the crossbar hurley' as well.
He had more timber than Coillte.

;D very good AZ
Lot of goal keepers now using a Cúltec for their poc outs. Found myself that to keep the weight down the bás of a keeper hurl was always thinner, and so continuous poc outs normally led to cracks. Cúltecs can add a good few yards to your poc outs too in my opinion.
