Title: Switching to Sky for home phone and broadband (ROI only)
Post by: Shamrock Shore on March 25, 2013, 08:29:39 PM
Anyone here switch to Sky to replace eircom as the home phone and broadband supplier.

The prices look very competitive and there could be major savings if my sums are correct. Eircom costs us €150 every 2 months. Sky may 'only' cost €100 every two months.

If one has switched do you regret it? Is the service what you expected?

Any horror stories?

Switched last week, seamless, a small increase in download speed but it's meant to get better over the next 10 days or so. Yes cheaper but I'm happier to be away from Eircom to be honest. Brother has it (he is IT type) no complaints at all. Lad in job has it, he is delighted, better download speed and he has 4 teenagers with every device known to man hooked up to it. I am mad I missed their intro offer wwhich was 17.50 per month for phone and broadband.
