Thought it be handy to have this for anyone who won't have access to Sky Sports News at all today.
I'd appreciate if posters kept it updated with news of transfers.
I can delete the thread tomorrow so as to keep those happy who hate multiple soccer threads on the front page.
Cheers!

The Juventus quotes don't seem to be that happy about it. Along the lines of "We were hoping for a big name signing, but Bendtner will do" :D

Hearts turn down bid from Rangers for David Templeton and Ryan McGowan with the combined amount offered understood to be less than £1m. Where will Rangers be doing their shopping for the rest of the day?
Hold the back page ........ Kieran Richardson to Fulham.

Dempsey told Villa he only wants Liverpool so Villa are out of the race.
QPR have signed a whole new team.
11 new signings!
Its actually 12 and counting.. Totally different team/squad from last season, It doesn't matter who is over QPR it will take a while for them players to gel as a team, they are all mainly foreign players which doesn't help. Park and Boswinga have obviously lots of experience of english footbal but alot haven't.
Spurs have signed Joao Moutinho, quality signing. Looks like they could have Llorente by mid-night aswell.
On this subject who are the good guys to follow on twitter with stories? I have a few Bbc guys- anyone else?

It's pretty tame considering. Have man city less of a budget than other years??
Don't understand why they bought Roswell and not too sure on Sinclair either unless it's an English player quota thing.

Wasn`t really directing it entirely at City. By the end of this transfer window, the English clubs will have spent well over 400m. It`s crazy money and how they will make it back, I have no f**king idea. Once the bubble does burst in England, there football will be finished. Blackburn, now playing in the Championship, just spent 8m on an unproven striker from the English 3rd tier yesterday. It just makes me sick

Yea that is amazing (even if it will be attacked from the usual sources) it sets a great example.
Niall Quinn did it with his testimonial and quite a few have followed suit. It would be great to see more of it.

Good move alright by Beckham. But to put it into perspective it would be like me or you donating £20 a month to the NSPCC or whatever...but fair play...he seems like a genuine bloke.

Maybe so,but how many of us do donate €20 a month to any charity?
Credit where credit is due to Beckham. I know he is worth many millions and all that but it's a great gesture.
