Title: Things to do in Dublin this weekend
Post by: Christmas Lights on July 09, 2012, 01:15:34 PM
Thinking of going down to the captial this Saturday with the woman.
Anyone recommend a nice hotel to stay in and also where to go for a lively night out or if there are any concerts or anything like that on that could entertain us for a night?

All replies welcome  8)

Just to pull an old thread. Heading to Dublin on Sat for a show sat night. But going down early with the Missus and was looking for recommendations for something to do during the day as we plan to head early. Wife is expecting so going for a few drinks is prob of the cards (For her anyway!!). But we were just saying we've never really done any of the tourist things in Dublin. Any recommendations for how to pass a few ours. Want to avoid being dragged  shopping.

Kilmainham jail tour is worth doing. Takes about 90 mins for tour and exhibition
