Lads, Ive managed to get my hands on two but im looking for three if not four more premium for tomorrow.
Does anyone have any contacts. Not a member so i cannot buy through croke park.
Thanks
sitting with the plebs not good enough? ;)
Like it or not where are you at was offered 2 last night
Thanks Np76. Got sorted 20 min ago. Appreciate the response. No problem sitting in general area Ballinaman, I always do but because of 2 friends in wheelchairs, premium was easiest option for them to have a drink etc.
i have 4 premium tickets for hurling final - would anyone swap these for 4 premium for football final?
surprised croke park don`t offer this option
as would swap 2 also
What do you make of the premium system, feel like you're getting value out of it?
With it being approx 14k for a 10 year ticket, and who wants to go to the game on their own, so would need 2, that's close to 3k a year for 2 premium seats ... would need to be attending some amount of games in Croker to justify? or are they simply targeted at the corporate market where businesses can write them off as an expense?

if not living in dublin no longer attractive as matches too close together.
was there saturday , couldnt justify jumping in car again for sunday
same with the hurling semi finals just went to one
reality is you can buy premiums one off as such for all games bar the finals so they are starting to lose their attraction with the tight season
although would say not too many available fro purchase
Nowadays, Premiums are more useful for getting access to concerts than Leinster championship matches that no one goes to.
Could they not do something like an annual ticket to ordinary seats in Croker?
One block in Cusack or Hogan at say €500?

They'd be a lottery win purchase only for me
There's a waiting list to sign up to the premium term tickets currently.
Had access to some in the early noughties up until about 2015. Made great use of them at the time but then they got crazy money I thought. Also didn't enjoy them for Armagh matches as I thought you lost a bit of the atmosphere.

I have absolutely no idea how they've sold them all out. The price they're charging is insane, has increased recently, and there's less games in Croker than ever. There's also less important games. And the mood music is for less games in Croker, not more
The customer service is shocking. You basically can't sell the tickets on. Croker charge a laughable 50% of any fee on their platform, if it works. The place is half empty for basically every game bar a final. Other perks are non existent Even the Cork v Limerick sell out, premium was only 3/4 full
The view is top class but that's it. It must be businesses buying them and not using them because I can't understand who is forking out for the contract. I never will again anyway. You're better off trying to get them privately for the 3 or 4 games a year you want to go to

Most of the club draws always seem to be premium tickets so have to assume clubs have bought them to raffle off the final tickets. I'd take the quarter finals out of Croke Park and replace those dates with concerts.
You can buy a ticket for Old Trafford for around £4000, get free food and drink for 3 hours before the game and an hour afterwards and get around 25 games a year. Its miles better value for money!
Never though of that but i'd say you're dead right. 3k or so in raffle entries for both the hurling and football finals and 2 tickets would be covered for the year. Clubs would easily surpass that in sales
Those United ones seem like superb value! Are they the Upper Quadrants hospitality section? Was it in once
How the premium seats work for concerts?
I bought a ticket for Springsteen for about half price the day before, but all the seats around me in the Canal end were not full.

Aye the Quadrants, naturally some depending on where in the ground are a lot more expensive then that. Never in them, boycotted OT for 17 years whilst the Glazers were in charge. Had to go back when kids came along!
My dad had 10 year tickets back in the 80's for All Ireland finals, don't think he paid any more then a standard ticket. How times have changed!
Think even the bog standard 10 year tickets where you are guaranteed two football and two hurling final tickets are really expensive.

You get the option of buying your two normal seats for each, usually about 50% more than regular concert prices. Handy for the shortish bar queues and toilets but for a concert you're looking for atmosphere and its slightly more dead in premium, as well as being more expensive. I wouldn't count them as a huge perk in ownership

It certainly lacked atmosphere, many of those around were using it as pub with background music.
