Title: O'Neills goes green
Post by: AZOffaly on February 17, 2012, 03:21:22 PM
Did anyone look at those O'Neills 'specials' they are running for Paddy's Day. Strange concept, but some of them look quite nice. Why you'd want to wear one though, if you were from Clare or the like, I don't really get. I really like the Offaly one.

You see the Green on this jersey already stands for Ireland. Jog on wannabes.

Aye, but the 1988 jersey is all the rage here at the minute. It's much nicer anyway.

them green ones are awful looking.

I like the O'Neills 1980 saccer jersey they have. Its £40 though, but I doubt they'll drop the price before the Euros;

I have the Meath 1988 jersey. tis class.

Noticed that myself!.. Would it just be the green goalie version that McBenett wore against Kildare last summer?.. Didnt check to see if its available already..

Is that the actual size of Bernard Flynn's jersey?

When I see that 88 Meath jersey all I can think of is Kevin Foley's wolly head

Down and Tyrone ones are decent. Could never bring myself to wear a Dublin jersey even though the green is lovely!

Sure who would want a monaghan one, it would be an expensive dish cloth. That Cavan one is rank too, looks like a meath jersey which is just disgusting.

Longford

Known as Larries after one of our most famous sons, Larry Cunningham........

I always thought it was after Larry from the three stooges.

It's Larry Cunningham. And that's official.

Tipp one is very poor.  A Kerry jersey with Skoda written on it.  Can't see much demand for it.

I hope O'Neill's make f**k all from this gimmick. Cheek of the bastards, jerseys are expensive enough and they go and introduce a new range for one day of the year! Can't imagine too many people being silly enough to buy them.

This one is brilliant:-

Just a shame that Ireland will be wearing this one for the Scotland-Ireland and Australia-Ireland games:-
