Title: G.A.A Betting
Post by: beer baron on June 02, 2011, 10:50:20 PM
Don't know if there's a thread for this, apologies if there is but i've just seen Tyrone -3 as big as 11/10 with William Hill and generally evens! This seems like a very generous handicap for Tyrone to beat with the 2 Freemans,Jp Mone Woods,Mc Quaid etc. missing...?

Thinking of hitting it big time, anyone see any reason why Tyrone won't cover it?

Problem is beer baron, recently teams that have been unerdogs have beat the handicap.  Offaly, London, Cork, Armagh and Tipp in the football!! I've wanted to stick a few quid on Dublin at evens to win Leinster. Too unpredictable!!

There was great value to be had last week with Paddy power betting on number of points particular players would score but so far they aren't offering it this week. Off hand I know Clarke x2 Billy Joe and Aaron Kernan all scored enough to cover the bet.

Tyrone might eat a feed of German cucumbers.

Sounds a decent bet but Handicap betting very dangerous in GAA. just double tyrone with ROI on sat night and you will be cashing in on sunday evening

I wouldn't be so sure of the ROI.

Tyrone -3 and Kildare -2 Doubled Pays almost 3.5 to 1.

Bet of the weekend IMO.

Noticed Paddy power are offering odds on points players will score for Dubliin Laois, Kerry Limerick and Meath Kildare any of them stand out as offering value? Who are free takers for respective sides? Thought maybe Sheehan over 3.5 points for Kerry

John Doyle 10/1 for Top scorer must be worth a bet.

Only watched glimpses of it, Britain got talent on and I'm being bullied out of the sport

Cork 5-11 Waterford 1-06 now and Tyrone 4 points up against 14 men. With Kerry having won the oul accumulator is looking good.

Tyrone screwed me as did Laois. Had Kerry and Cork covering the handicaps but no payout. Balls.

Had Munnelly at 4/7 to score more than 1 point and connolly at evens to score more than 2 points. Seems to be some good value every week on these type of bets.

I've lost loads but sure it's only a bit of craic.

I don't bet to make a lot of money, 5 pound bets only, took Cork minus 10, Tyrone minus 1, Kildare minus 3 and Dublin Minus 4

Only paid out £36 quid
