Anyone check this site out yet, it's a site for the men of Ireland. Not a bad effort wonder how it will last before it folds?
First two pictures I saw on the site are Ricky Gervais and Fernando Torres. ???
They have just been on about it on Today FM. Gerry Flannery is a director of it i think
an irish online FHM.... without the girls :o :o
What is the point of this website? Why is it any better or any different to any other website with similar information?

Is there another Irish website like this though?

Not a bad effort? Only in the sense that a donkey isn't a bad horse old stock. Joe.ie is rubbish.
Here's its preview of the League Final tomorrow: http://www.joe.ie/1/story/league-finals-preview
The picture is out of date and as for the previews, I've sent longer texts. As Puckoon says, it's claiming to be an Irish site, and the first two pictures he sees are Ricky Gervais and Fernando Torres? The sooner it goes belly-up the better.
Speaking of Irish men's sites, I've just stumbled on http://boob.ie it seems to be run by real lads and not a PR agency. And they were around before Joe.

You "just stumbled on it," did you Matt? Just like that?
Well, it's got sweet f**k all GAA either: http://boob.ie/category/sport/gaa/
This is a GAA site. If those "real" lads who aren't a PR agency are reading this - because I'm sure you're not them, Mattie, a stór, I'm sure you're not, stumbling, bumbling you - I have bad news for them. I think they've been hacked.
Because I've had a look at their "football" section and all I see is soccer which, as any GAA man will tell you, ain't football at all. Who exactly are you trying to cod? Do you want us to buy a few apartments off you as well?
Jesus Christ.
Somebody asked if there was another site like it and I gave a suggestion.
Nobody's trying to piss on your chips here.
And I've no idea what that apartment remark is about.
I came across joe.ie today via a search for Joe Duffy. It looks very lightweight so it will probably do well. The only concern would be the validity of their income projections in a recession that's going to run and run.

My concern, Mattman, is that you're trolling for the boob.ie site. You say you have nothing to do with them. But you only opened your account here yesterday and you've yet to make any contribution to any GAA discussion. This is why I'm worried that you are, as you so nicely put it, pissing on my chips. I look forward to your contributions in future.
I understand your concerns, I'd be thinking the same things in fairness.
I'm a lurker on a lot of sites, while I just read to pass the time in work, I do like to come out every now and again on different forums, boards.ie, twenty major et al. Such is the nature of the lurker. Only create an account if something takes your fancy.
But I can tell you, I'll keep my tuppence worth to myself in future if that's the kind of response I'll get for a first time posting.
What a welcome.

Treat me. Say something about the GAA. This is a GAA Board. The reason I jumped on you is because I thought - and think - you're shilling for that site and you were being utterly disingenuous in your post. You can't go pussing about my lack of hospitality if you're only purpose in posting is to get hits for your site. If you're not and you're on the level, engage in some discussion on the GAA topics here. If not, I'm sure you can figure out what to do with your tuppence.
Over to you Mattman.
*enters thread*
wtf??
*backs out slowly, goes to check boob.ie*
Well now here's the thing, I could keep it to myself, but that would only vindicate your assertions about me and my reason for jumping in on a post.
I know I'm not out for any site in particular, as I said someone asked if there were any more sites out there and I suggested - in the general discussion forum. Which just happens to be the one I read the most. But if joining a discussion on one of the GAA threads is what you want, I'll jump in. Not that it will convince you other wise, your mind is pretty much made up I'll bet.
I'd love to warn other first time posters that they had better be advised not to reference an outside site. I'd hate them to be subjected to accusations of underhanded activity.
Although ask yourself this, if I am trolling for said site to hike up hits then you're not doing a bad job in assisting me, are you? Much like I've commented on the Hunky Dory's thread here.
I'll hang around a bit and comment a little more as I see fit, no doubt your curtains will be twitching.
I think you'll fit in fine here, Mattman, based solely on your apostrophe use.

Matt, checked the site out...nearly pissed myself when I saw the video for "cockpatch" :D
Welcome aboard.....just so long as you have a sense of humour and don't take yourself or anyone else on here too seriously, you'll enjoy the craic.

Thanks dude, having the craic is what it's all about
Wild story there about that dromore fella Shane McMahon! 'Fighting for life' is a bit of a big deal. Heard a bouncer through him out of sallys in omagh, and he hit his head...I think people fondly nicknamed him 'psycho' ?
