sausage,and bean are two slang words round my area and i cant take it seriously at all.so what do ya prefer TG, sausages or beans?

I recall on Alan Partridge the Geordie Michael was eating an Newcastle speciality which was a cup of beans with a sausage in it - i.e. the sausage was used as a fork .. looked good and Michael explained that it was popular "oop Nort like" ..

Not so. I recall that the "Trevallors" were parked in a big field close to us in Belfast in the early '80s and on the way home from school I used to see the 'Ma' scraping the dirty pan out the side before emptying a big tin of Heinz beans into it as I passed. Jesus, I could have knocked the door and asked for share, only she proceeded to have a big shoite in the open air before she took the beans back into the "house".

the boyfriends flat mate from uni, her ma sends down a couple every few weeks for the feed, it's good stuff now i have to say! i'm a fool for anything with pastry on the top tho!
