Strictly come dancing.
Celebrity strictly come dancing.
X Factor.
I'm a (washed up) celebrity get me out of here.
Euro Star.
Big Brother.
(Washed up) Celebrity Big Brother.
(Washed up Irish) Celebrity Farm.
When will it all end? We have youtube now & we don't need to overdose on talentless losers looking for a wormhole to superstardom.
I'll admit to watching BGT on youtube occasionally and I do like Dragon's Den but there is only so much of it I can watch.
Have the BBC/ITV stopped doing comedy? Have RTE stopped doing anything?
Laochra Gael is the only decent programme I can recall made in this country in the last 5 years.
I stopped watching tv.
I dont watch any of those, infact I dont think I watch any form of reality TV.
Cant stand Cowell or Walsh.
It is all a pile of piss isn't it. And I thought I was alone. :'(
Reality tv is an oxymoron.
Reality tv makes a packet from morons at home texting and ringing in. Money talks so it's here to stay in whatever guise makes money. There is no doubt some reality tv have scraped the bottom of the barrel until there is nothing left - Farmer Wants A Wife etc.
The thing that gets me is that seemingly normal, intelligent people actually buy into this shit and believing the manufactured arguments and onscreen battles ref. any time Sharon Osbourne poured water over anyone, any time a judge walks out. All this stuff is carefully planned in advance.
Its all a loada boll*cks! And that bloody dancing was on for over 2 hours on saturday night!!!

was begining to think the same myself.worse still its always a main topic of conversation when you go anywere ???
Get a life FFS
In fairness to Strictly Come Dancing I think it qualifies as entertainment and while I'm personally not a huge fan I can see the appeal of it.... and the women in it are just ridiculously good looking which also helps things.
All the others I really can't see the appeal of and they should stop being made. Big Brother has run its course and the X Factor will do the same very shortly as they all begin to lose their novelty appeal.
As for the quality of television being made well there are still a few gems out there like Peep Show and Outnumbered. Excellent comedy in fairness!
Tis all a heap of manure. Bring back the Generation Game and the Golden Shot. And to spice things up, have all the lovely girls appear undraped.

It's the only one watched in our house. Purely for the entertainment value ;)

I am big fan, Kristina Rihanoff just wow wow :o, Obviously cant watch out here but watched it back home.
I agree with Muppet on the rest. And add in Soaps aswell.
the reality shows have definitely ruined TV but somebody is watching them
I hardly watch the TV now and make a point of not turning it on until after 7 every night and its always switched off on a friday. People need to spend more time talking to each other and living their own lives instead of getting engrossed in the lives of everyone else on the box.
