Title: Blue and Navy- Dubs Fanzine
Post by: T Fearon on August 14, 2009, 09:17:34 AM
Got a  mention in the current issue, (along with my old sparring partner on a predecessor of this Board, Jimbo Fahy, a an All Ireland Minor medal winner with the Dubs in 1984), the lads were kind enough to enclose a copy with my 1983 retro jersey.

Its a great read, informative and humourous, and I have no doubt it will become a collector's item ;D

Its a great read, and every county should have one. Loved the story from the guy in Kavanagh's waiting with his mate in the hope fo getting a ticket for the Dubs Tyrone game in 1995 (the draw). and his mate got one and went to the game, while he had to sit and watch it in the pub, then when his mate came back to the pub after the game he pulled the ticket out of his wallet and realised there was another one attached to it, so the both of them could have gone together :D

Though I think Honcho is his A-Z in which he rubbishes Meath and says they don't matter anymore, are as much use as a chocolate teapot, and not worth mustering up the effort to hate, may just have a wee bit of egg on his face given that the Royals have progressed to the AI semi final.
