Title: Buying a Car
Post by: Green Grass on August 03, 2009, 08:56:46 PM
I am about 2 buy a car and don't want to handover cash to the seller, simply because I don't want to be carrying that amount of cash on me should anything happen.  Is it possible to transfer the cash from my bank account onto my credit card so that it would be X amount of $ in credit and pay that way? Would there be interest charges or any charges on this transaction normally?

Get a bankers draft.  Cheque from the bank that will be payable to the seller only.  You have to go to the bank anyway.

Remember to get the change of ownership signed and bring it with you.

Happy Motoring.
