We were getting the ferry from Larne to Troon a few weeks back. Poor ol' Mrs d got into a flap at the amount of Union Jacks (and did you know the Bayeux Tapestry is really an embroidery, pedants?) around all manner of places. She got right Ali G on their collective asses, ranting about nobody in Britain wanting them, and expected at every turn to be shot for her red hair and / or her blatantly Fenian husband.
