Is that bamboo shit really true?

It sounds like someone trying to wind people up with a ludicrous bullshit story, but it seems to be being widely reported.

The Cheney thing is just mind-boggling though.

I cannot stand her aggressive neocon politics, but she is probably among the most hardline conservative politicians in Congress, and the GOP Trump personality cult is pushing her aside because she won't publicly embrace Trump's election fraud charade and is standing her ground, unlike that spineless, gutless, unprincipled worm Kevin McCarthy.

Oh the bamboo shit is absolutely true.

There are plenty of other outlets reporting it, including Forbes which is not exactly known for its leftist views, but I'm posting a CNN link just because of the effect it's sure to have on any RWNJs who might be reading.

Joes presidency so far
Inflation through roof
Gas shortage on east coast
Turmoil on southern border
Turmoil starting in Middle East
War mongering with Russia
A president and vp wearing masks everywhere when they are fully vaccinated therefore turning people off getter vaccine ( joe needs covid to keep going to push through crazy policy)
Allowing teachers union to dictate policy to cdc
but remember it's all trumps fault

The only valid criticism there is the border the rest is a load of nonsense. The border is a shit show why can't you just focus on that?

There is no gas shortage other than panic buying and why shouldn't the CDC consult with teachers about reopening schools and hasn't Biden just invited Putin to a summit? Any wonder Republicans lost so bad when they have to make stuff up!

Indeed.

And never mind that inflation is down to global supply chains and pent-up demand, something that hasn't come about in a vacuum.

That mask/covid comment...??

Things could be worse though, despite the border problems which they still have to get to grips with. The GOP is on the final lap of purging their party of any reality-based direction and leadership. For a party which gloated "f**k your feelings" for the last few years, emotion and feelings seems to be the only thing they deal in; there are no facts or verifiable evidence involved when it comes to prostrating their entire movement at the feet of the Great Orange Baby.

The free thought party, albeit within the very narrow parameters of unquestioning and complete loyalty to Trump's narcissistic, vainglorious psyche.

12 million people passed through Ellis Island between 1892 and 1954. People showed up in huge numbers with no visas, no jobs, and got to stay permanently. The borders were completely open up to 1921. Why do we never hear about this in terms of a "crisis at the border?" Were we not "full" then too?

Most of the people claiming that "if you don't have a border you don't have a country" (*cough* *cough* Schenghen area *cough* open-border-on-the-island-of-Ireland *cough*) are descended from people that were allowed to flood into the country willy nilly before anyone invented the term "illegal immigration." All this fake outrage about immigrants is pure pull-the-ladder-up-behind-us-ism with a bit of racism thrown in. It's got nothing to do with security or the welfare of the American people and everything to do with pure out-and-out bigotry.

Apprehensions at southern border up 944% in April 2021 compared to 2020 add to list
With such weakness in wh things will only get worse

I don't know about where you live, but restrictions are way, way more loosened where I am than they were this time last year.

What are the stats compared to April/May 2019?

So you don't want to answer the question?

The pipelines being hacked is Biden's fault? Did he fire Trump's crack team of cybersecurity officials and technicians or something? Did he pull the funding these massive oil companies who own Colonial Pipeline must apparently need to combat hackers?

Inflation? What part of globalization, supply chains, factories and raw materials being impacted by an international pandemic and shutdown don't you get? Throw in suppressed spending as millions were stuck at home or out of work.

Unemployment – it will come down as states continue to open up and companies start bringing people back to the office. However, I actually agree that the extra payments should probably be discontinued to encourage those in the likes of service industries to get back to work.

Which begs the question how can he be both missing in action AND the cause of the inflation and high employment you're laying at his feet?
