Junior Final fixed for 5.30pm on Sunday 7th November. Brutal time on a Sunday evening for a game - let alone a final!

Is it fixed for Omagh?
Terrible place for the junior final.
Carrickmore a great venue for the junior and intermediate final.

Yes in Omagh. Not disputing it being there. County Finals should be held in County Grounds IMO, just think it's a strange time to fix it.

Hard to legislate for yesterdays conditions.Suited Coalisland better think Dominic could be available he was the last man to deliver the goods for Carmen.

It's not really, it is October and the chances of Wind and Rain is high. Suited Coalisland better as we set back and let them have the ball when we were playing with the wind.

Roger Keenan was the last man in 2005.

Did dom not do back to back with Carmen in 04,05 keenan might of been beat in final in 06.

Corrigan was in charge for 04 before going to take Sligo Seniors in 2005.
Keenan took charge in 2005 before taking up High Performance Manager role with SINI which stopped him from taking management role for the following season.
Chris Brown in charge in 2006.

Carmen enjoyed a Manager Merry-go-round in them days

Won an Ulster title with them too in 06, unprecedented times

Brown won a competitive Ulster league that year but got the road after losing a couple of league games. Corrigan was at the helm for most of the year in 06. I cant remember if Gavin was with him them days or not but he was certainly involved with some of them teams as well.

Its a bit of a reach to call that an Ulster title. Carmen's best days were behind them by then but it always surprises me that they didn't push an Ulster club with some of the quality that went before. Its bound to sit sore that the neighbours over the hill achieved it with arguably a weaker side.

Just an opinion not a fact. But the Errigal team that got to an Ulster final in 00 was not much better than the Carmen teams of 99 and 01...I actually think they were weaker yet nearly won Ulster. However I do believe that the 02 Errigal team was probably the greatest Tyrone club side in my memory.

Overall point is I never thought Carrickmore were going to land an Ulster, yet every year Errigal represented Tyrone you felt they had a chance. This is what makes no sense, as I said those teams from 99 - 01 were on par if not Carrickmore a wee touch stronger.

I do think 01 was our best chance. 3 points up against Mayobridge, a man up and playing well to falling apart in the last 15mins after Seamus McCallan getting sent off. Losing Davitt McElroy to injury before the game didn't help. Losing 04 to Mayobridge in the ulster semi was a sore one also. Conceding soft goals that day cost us.

Was dismissed abruptly after the Ulster league win, only relaying what I heard, don't shoot the messenger  ;)

Its a bit of a reach to call that an Ulster title. Carmen's best days were behind them by then but it always surprises me that they didn't push an Ulster club with some of the quality that went before. Its bound to sit sore that the neighbours over the hill achieved it with arguably a weaker side.

Weaker side let me hear your argument for that

Just an opinion not a fact. But the Errigal team that got to an Ulster final in 00 was not much better than the Carmen teams of 99 and 01...I actually think they were weaker yet nearly won Ulster. However I do believe that the 02 Errigal team was probably the greatest Tyrone club side in my memory.

Overall point is I never thought Carrickmore were going to land an Ulster, yet every year Errigal represented Tyrone you felt they had a chance. This is what makes no sense, as I said those teams from 99 - 01 were on par if not Carrickmore a wee touch stronger.

Fair enough assessment. Carmen were a serious outfit then

Under Lights

Errigal breezed through first two rounds, hopefully Coalisland give them a bit of a game. Could be going into a final / First round of Ulster cold.

Ulster QF v Fermanagh winners, very concerned Errigal could be going into Ulster SF against Cross without a competitive game, but they usually beat Cross so should be OK
