Quote from: Eire90 on December 19, 2023, 01:47:44 AMTHE one-sided nature of numerous matches in Junior football in Tyrone, both in the league and championship this past season, gives cause for concern, one of the county's leading officers has warned.
Donaghmore, Killyman, Castlederg, Brocagh would be only 4 that I would say haven't been competitive this year

With Killyman and Brocagh combining underage is there any appetite for a merger? Are both clubs still fielding reserve teams?

Nothing for Derry, based on that map.
Maybe JP reckons that if they can afford Mickey Harte...

Quote from: Armagh18 on December 14, 2023, 09:24:01 AMIts the definition of genocide ffs.

It is not. Isreal has the arms to kill everyone in Gaza if they wanted to.
The analogy I used before was, this is analogous to the invasion of Poland, when many Poles were killed, but is not analogous to the holocaust, which actually was genocide.

They don't need to kill everyone in Gaza to make it genocide. Destroying the infrastructure and driving the population out makes in genocide.

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on December 13, 2023, 11:45:40 PMThats more than Russia lost in Afghanistan, and other uprisings since WW2.its funny on US complaining about funding the Ukraine, when guns and heavy weapons are Coming out of their ears in that country.

Complaining about funding but it is primarily an accountancy trick. The US has a lot of servicable equipment that is end of life. They would need to pay to have it destroyed but when it is transferred to Ukraine it is at full book value.

Yes. Common sense.
Common sense would be to finish the Ulster,Munster championships up sooner and have the All Ireland football semi final as two double headers with the Hurling semi finals this weekend.
2 double headers on a 4g pitch this weekend then the 2 finals on Christmas Eve?

Christmas eve?! Christ on a bus.

It was a tongue in cheek response to the suggestion to play the semi-finals this weekend, not letting the provincial champions have a few weeks off.

It is linked, it is linked to the weakness of Biden and or the US.

Putin is playing a waiting game. If Trump wins, he wins, not just because he owns him but because Trump is an isolationist.

Netanyahu is leading Biden by the nose and can carry out his genocidal fantasies without repercussions.

Iran/ Hezbollah have the Houthis throwing missiles at US ships in the gulf without response.

Maduro and Venezuela have their eyes on Guyana's oil.

And as always, China are playing the long game. The current incursions in the Whitsun reef in the Philippines are just testing the water as the US is supposed to have a mutual defence treaty. No response gives the green light for Taiwan incursions.

The US is no longer the worlds policeman, their legitimacy and their capability have been eroded.

Quote from: GlenMan on December 11, 2023, 07:07:04 PMI feel sorry for the players in this county, the standard of refereeing in Tyrone is on the floor and highlighted by some recent disastrous performances.

Junior and inter finals, yesterday's league final amongst many - utterly dreadful officiating. We're getting to the point where clubs will have to step up and say enough is enough

Clubs will have to step up and provide more Refs.

If you are that desperate to see it, Armagh is fairly central and easy to get in and out of.
A bit damper than sitting on your hole complaining and saving £15 though.

The video is edited to cut out the bit about Hamas and make it seem like the IDF killed them.

The IDF have enough blood on their hands without false propaganda.

Predictions for the final.. ?

Dromore are running the Paul McGirr so may not be willing to see their pitch cut up by Trillick & Carrickmore.

Quote from: imtommygunn on December 06, 2023, 10:05:57 PMWtf is going on with the Rwandan scheme that the British government are pushing for. So starmer stands up in parliament today and says that the maximum it can take is one hundred and for this one hundred they take in one hundred from Rwanda? Them tories should be locked up. Never mind the premise of this thing in the first place the sheer lies that go on with them is off the chart.

Smoke and mirrors. Feed the Brit public the line - aren't we great at tackling all these foreign people coming into our country? A large section of the British lap this shite up. Meanwhile, some Tory is pocketing a fortune while they have distracted everyone to look over there.

Rwanda pretty rich in natural resources so wonder if its tied in some way to that. They seemed to talk a lot about it developing etc. Brit public to foot the bill for the first 5 years of anyone deported to rwanda. Its all electioneering shite. There is accommodation for what 2 boat loads ffs. Plus if they committ a crime whilst there they can be deported back from Rwanda. Brexit still killing the tories. Not long now.....

Of course it is related to Rwandan resources and the now higher bar for UK visas. They want to give UK passports to 100 wealthy Rwandans for every 100 boat people.
It doesn't matter that the wealth came from slavery in cobalt mines or supplying arms to the M23.

Are they not getting enough half time draws? I hope it's thrown out without further discussion. Why would anyone tamper with the best club championship in Ireland?

A heads gone moment

May well have hit the nail on the head here. There can't be any other reason for them to motion that other than the reason of gathering more income with games.  On the football front they wouldn't even come out of a group stage most years & the only chance they have of nipping a team in the top 7/8 now is by a straight knockout.  They do have some good youth coming through but still a long way of the top teams.

With new lights being installed in Dungannon they should lose their monopoly on Friday night championship games.
