Star Trek is fecking excellent, not a fan at all and wasn't expecting it to be up to much. Definitely edge of the seat stuff and it looks fantastic.

Tevez scored too, what happened I'm only listening. Did he go to the crowd or something?

Yeah he ran up to the City supporters shouting that he'll do that for them next year. Didn't go down well at all.

He ran up to front of the Utd dug out after he scored and put his hands behind his ears at ferguson as if to say are you listening. Never went near the city supporters and he never opened his mouth.

I think they might let him off and throw the book at Drogba.

You look at the way he conducted himself after the decision, in fact the entire Utd team (granted it wasn't a decision that would affect the outcome of the game, not sure what would happened if it handed advantage to the Gooners  :P) handled themselves may count in his favour.

So they will let him off because he didnt deck the ref?

No but it may count in his favour. Drogba is looking a lengthy ban. Is there anything in the rules that sitipulates the max ban he can get?

Thinking about it he probably will get off; just because there is not enough moaning and conspiracy theories about Utd cheating, refs being easy on them, etc........ at the moment  ;)

R drivers should be banned completely if caught speeding. I know a wee p***k with an Impreza only 17/18, caught doing 100 on the M1 and only got 6 points  ???

He would have been banned from driving and had to take the test again then, not that leniant.

Yep it's an automatic ban in the North, not sure about the south. Well it suppiosed to be  ???

It's amazing how it's the young ones who get all the blame.

There are people of all ages who could do with advanced training, especially over the last few years with the improvements the roads and infrastructure. It's amazing how many older people have never driven on motor ways, dual carriage ways, understand roundabouts. These sort of people who were used to tipping down to the local/shop on country roads now have to deal with all the stuff which didn't exist when they got their license. There are loads of accidents because people don't understand the current highway code. IMHO all drivers should be checked certain points, especially after a certain age.

Yes, crack down on everyone, but the statistics don't lie. Young males are far more likely to be idiots at the wheel and that is reflected in their accident and death rates. There should be far greater restrictions on young people driving.

The most annoying thing is that this hand wringing starts every single time there's a bad bank holiday death toll, yet nothing ever changes.

As someone who has 1st hand experience of the fallout of fatal accidents caused by both young and older drivers I was quite shocked in the attitudes of the courts and people involved. Where as the young person looks at a receiving a custodial term and is demonised for the rest of his life, the older person is treated with more leniency. In the case I know the Garda in charge told one of the victims they where aware the person should not have been driving but they would have felt bad taking away his license. Causing death whether its though speeding/driving with due care/etc.... is both the same in my book whatever the age.

Again there should be far greater restrictions on "People" driving or obtaining their license and not just young people. Educating people on how to read road conditions, how to make the correct choices and advanced driving techniques is just some of the stuff other European countries do. Sure the statistics say young males are more likely to be involved in a fatal car accident but I certainly believe we should not just be targeting this group. It's a sad fact, road accidents/deaths will occur but you cannot legislate for stupidity, lapses in concentration and down right bad luck; by giving proper training and education you can mitigate some of that risk by allowing drivers to make informed decisions or cope with the conditions thrown at them.

Sky sports should be on there if you scroll down through the Uk channels, I think they only have 1 channel and they switch between 1,2,3 depending what is being broadcast. Haven't really looked through too much apart from the Sports, ITV and Channel4.

Brian Coceran - very good
fowler - very good
stevie g - boring
lance armstrong - excellent
Ronaldo: The Journey of a Genius by James Mosley - good read although not written by ronaldo himself

The real Ronaldo or the one that plays for Man Utd?

Should that not be the "fat" one who bottled it in a world cup final or the current world player of the year  ;)

The new Fight Night looks very good, haven't got a good boxing game really for any console I have had but have heard the Fight Night series is good and this is to be the best

http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/dor/objects/14235163/fight-night-round-4/images/fight-night-round-4-20090430115120334.html

Round 3 is excellent, the controls made the game. Round 4 is continued with a different studio, if the keep the control format the same it should be good but I can't see that happening. I thought round 3 was as close to perfect you could make sports/boxing game.

Eddie Irvine - very poor, I expected him to mention something about how his wheel went missing during a pitstop (while leading) in one of the final races of the season, eventually costing him a world championship. I expect Ferrari paid him a substantial sum not to mention that.

It's because of 3 days not sleeping and getting up to all sorts of imaginable stuff you are in the complete horrors. Again I would go but go with a group of like minded fellas  ;)

Fletcher was unlucky. Will be interesting to see if the referee admits to a mistake.

fletcher went in as if utd were 1 behind...v stupid to take the man down at that stage of the game.

also if the ref should admit to any mistakes maybe he'd need to go through all that first half and admit a few other mistakes.

Wise the f**k up, even the voyeur has admitted he should not have got a red and that fecker never sees anything.

Soft decisions one way or the other are not really the same as the Fletcher sending off. You can't get away with the same physical game in Europe as you can in the Premier League. Everyone knows it and that is why you get what 'appears' to be soft decisions by European refs. If you are refering to the free kick that led to the Ronado free kick going in, maybe decision was a little soft but that's European football. FFS it was 40 or so yards out, Almunia shold have done better.

State of Play with Crowe and Affleck is as good a thriller as i've seen lately
Maybe you can help unravel the storyline for the fox. He isn't as young as he once was.

it wasn't that hard to follow and was a superb movie from that genre. It is the best movie that has been out in the cinema in a while. Good enough to get oscars at least from the point of view of the quality of the movie whatever about the quality of the acting which I know nothing about. The writing would probably get an oscar nomination.

It was a ridiculous story with that reporter thinking he was Columbo... much too far fetched

The tv series it's based on is much better and more worthwhile watching than the movie.
