Back 4 are a disaster. Shaw showing last season's reasonable form was a flash in the pan.

Manchester United very unlucky in that first half. United totally dominant apart form the four goals. Coach Solskjaer will use one of his legendary half time team talks to turn it around yet.

The fundamentals are sound.

Helix.

Men against boys. Ronaldo very lucky to be still on the field too.

An absolute joke at the back. Hard way back for Ole.

I've a lot of liverpool friends and even now they aren't as jubilant as they normally are. That was coming and everybody knew it. I'm speechless nearly. Ole you are a club legend, but it's over

Is there any excuse to as why he should stay

Being honest I couldn't care less anymore. It hurts another

Ed Ricketts

This embarrassment is the culmination of way more money and way more time than any of his three predecessors.

It's been clear for a good two years that this was going no where. Any United fan with sense knew it, and opposition fans definitely knew it #olein.

How do even the most delusionally loyal justify the shitshow continuing past tomorrow morning?
Doc would listen to any kind of nonsense and change it for you to a kind of wisdom.

The Glazers have no interest in winning the PL. All they want is money. CL qualification is enough. You don't need to beat Liverpool to finish 4th.

The directors may consider United reaching the knockout stage of the Champions League and finishing in the top four of the Premier League a successful season. One estimate of the difference in direct Premier League income last season was around only £5m last season between United and Liverpool in third, which is not vast. United were 12 points behind Manchester City and to bridge that gap would require more than one removal and appointment and more money than might be worth the risk.

Great result and one that will hopefully and respectfully show Ole the door. You can't assemble a team like that and manage it into the ground
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Nearly a decade of constant humiliation and disappointment since Sir Alex retired. Absolutely sick of it. Half the team need to go, entire "coaching" staff, the board and the owners too. This is not just the story of Ole's ineptitude and the players' complacency, but the climax of a terribly run club that has put profit over football and tried to placate fans with nostalgia and memories instead of results. Pathetic.

Only when he was fouled just there did I realise Fred was playing this half.

Normally enjoy listening to Gary Neville and I get why he wouldn't call for Ole's sacking, but why he is still going about a rebuilding job and needing more time etc....he's had near 3 years and there's been little or no sign of any real improvement

this describes most english clubs in fairness

grown men crying over this is more worrying

'your club' is only interested in customers who give them money, they give nothing in return, how much was a ticket today?

I can imagine it is hard to take,  particularly with talk that it OT is going to be renamed the 0 3 Arena!

First I heard of that!

Source?

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

It's gonna be renamed the 0 5 Arena after today...
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Expected a defeat going by how disjointed United are and Liverpool back in the form that won them the league title though it turned out a lot worse than expected.

Regardless of manager, the players should be able to lift themselves against a big rival at home. Instead those players allowed Liverpool stroll to one of their easiest ever wins in this fixture. Liverpool to their credit are one of the top sides in Europe but how hard did they have to work for any of their 5 goals today?  The under 12 like defending from Shaw and Maguire in the opening quarter set the tone for a shambles of a performance.

Bord na Mona man

Ole's biggest problem was that at the start of this season, with the addition of Varane, Sancho and Ronaldo, he now had the bones of a squad that should on paper at least be challenging.
That put on added pressure and and exposed beyond all doubt that he isn't capable of taking a team the pinnacle.

The worst thing the board could do is drag it out. They wasted some months when both Van Gaal and Mourihno were done for. With 29 games still left and the top 4 still very much obtainable, you make the change.
