These colony nations are quite good at Engerland's great game.

When you've a pool of 1.4 billion people who's only sport is cricket you should be doing ok!

Then it's time the motherland started to include more Indians in their starting 11, instead of recruiting Irishmen, lol.

Scotland qualified today and Ireland will be in the same group if they make it through.

After a decent start Ireland have gotten bogged down here... Hard to know what a decent total will be

Thats an awful total for Twenty20. Once sterling is out they are screwed just a lack of  batting talent

Also yer man balbirnie doesnt seem to be much of a captain. He slowed the run rate right down. To go from 70 odd for 2 after 10 overs to 125 after 20 is a joke. That platform for  most teams would deliver 160 plus runs easily

Namibia are struggling to score runs too. Made a mess of their power play and even with a low target the rr is creeping up

10 runs required from 2 and a bit overs looks like Ireland are goosed

I can't believe Namibia have made such hard work of this.

Ireland have been a shambles for a long time makes their test status look ridiculous.

That might be a bit harsh, but it was a very disappointing performance against poor opposition.

Harsh but fair. 10  yrs ago we were a better team than afghanistan. Afghanistan have kicked on and we have gone backwards big time. Kevin o brien at 27 was batting number 6.  Kevin o brien  at 37 is now opening! That says it all.
