New directive  by central council is that it is desirable that inter county managers have a level3(  could be 2) qualification. Perhaps this has had an impa ct.

Leinster  is no prep.  For dubs  thats very clear  ...couldnt cope under the pressure yesterday.....its strange hoe pundits didnt highlight the violence in the afternoon programme  ....saving it for highlights package...hypocrisy  written all over that....

Dear  colm   you spout your opinions  put  your hand out to accept the payments...accept the crticisms of others who arent being paid ... build a bridge man....

Jinxy  I would imagine that  dublin  and meath were the kings of dirt tackles.  Cooper was a straight red....ive never seen a tyrone player do that...

Themac23  just to clarify  thanks for support  for lisburn gaels.      Points  to note :  money wise : self sufficient!  Two new kits for senior ladies & mens teams in 2015  sponsored by local businesses.   We are supported by local council and representatives.   We have lost some players to bigger clubs-but we are standing up to this ! Biggest problem is lack of commitment  from u16 to 18s- most clubs are experiencing the same.     2015  is the 50th anniversary of formation of st patricks gfc  .a new club history dating back to origins of gaa in lisburn will be published later this year. ( the 2nd ulster football final was played in lisburn in1890)   were not setting the gaa world alight with success  but se are working hard to develop our games in local primaries and in partnership with other clubs in the area.

Amazingly  sth  antrim   have  accepted  that  st johns are  not  fielding  in the u16  grading  competition. And allow  them  to  enter  div 2  when it begins......what   a  joke.......win  at  all  costs  mentality  gone wrong...I honestly   couldnt  believe  that ......st  johns  conceding  games

Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling

There's a serious amount of deluded people on here deriding tyrone GAA /CB / Garvaghey ;   tyrone GAA as an organistion is light years ahead of the vast majority of counties. The time and effort of the volunteers who run the  CB in an amatur  organisation is phonemonal .      Tyrone gaa is the envy of most counties in ireland . Get over your moaning !

CB exucutive only interested in winning championship match v fermanagh this year and promotion out of div 4. Madden offered a mmore long term progressive approach . In terms of strength and conditioning work , antrim are a long way behind. There is good work taking place at development squad level but it needs to be more organised and consistent.     It is interesting to see the diFference in approach with senior hulers; this is a more pragmatic , building the squad and systems of play. I wonder what kevin ryan makes of the set up in antrim?

Armagh , donegal, derry all putting serious work into their development teams. Armagh "orchard acdamey " is being overseen by paul mc grane. Their U 16 team is a big physical team . Donegal have a CHF O' Donnell; who is a unbelievably talented football. Derry U16s unbeaten ! This is were the future is!

Sure there's never a cynical foul in hurling,  no need for a black card lads.......sure the kilkenny back was just being sporting giving galway that last minute penalty...with the rugby tackle......where are you now ...joe brolly!  Ach sure there's only a point in it ...let's play on to galway have a chance to equalise....were deep in additional time....never mind !!! Not a mention from the pundits....it was a truly outstanding game!
