Very Suarez v Stoke in the league cup.

That wind reminded me of many's a Fermanagh and Western game many moons ago

Nunez you mad bastard! How the hell did he miss that?? :o  ;D

Liverpool have been very flat today. Luton deserve something from the game.

Yep. Lutron far more intensity. And then the chances that have come for Liverpool have been squandered.

No complaints if they lose it.

Draw a fair result.

Fair fucks to Diaz under the circumstances.

Liverpool be happy with the point I'd say after a very poor performance.
They looked like a team that turned up expecting to win without a battle.
NEUTRAL

Always had bad memories of playing Luton back in the day on that horrible night mastic pitch. It and Oldham were always shitty. Move on, next game!

Flat performance but not going to win every match this or any other season.  Just found it very hard to get any space in behind with Luton sitting so low and flooding the penalty area.  Nunes though should have taken one of the 2 really good chances he had.  Just not acceptable to miss that one - he'll not want to see the replay.  Takes the spotlight off Ronnie Rosenthal, if any of you remember him!

Lovely to see Diaz get the goal. Poor guy has been through hell.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Carra was going on and on about an earlier Nunez miss, but that was a difficult chance. Jota's miss was the only real clearcut chance we missed. On an already narrow pitch, we played too narrow and didn't create enough. Cutting inside works well for us most weeks, but sometimes it would be better to get to the end line a few times and cross in low and hard from there.

Gravenberch missed an identical one to Darwin's v Brighton, so that's probably cost 4 points over those two games. But either way I think second in the league is the best we can hope for, and maybe one or two cup finals. Overall playing good football, everyone giving 100% (which not every club can say!), but still a few tweaks required.

Difficult chance?

The Salah reaction to the miss said it all however he should have scored himself instead of laying the ball off to Nunez.

Man said earlier chance. That was obvious. Learn to read.

Also said "only real clearcut chance we missed" And had it hit the net the goal would have stood as Salah was not offside.
