Can't see Trillick losing imo, best team by a mile we've faced this yr!! There unbeaten all year and have a number of men including ruairi Brennan and niall jib Donnelly back fit again! Richie donnellys participation will also hav a big impact on the game,if he's lined out fit to play then it'll be a major boost for Trillick!

Harte was right not to shake and proper order to hit Doris if what I'm hearing is true of what disgusting and disturbing talk Doris is meant to have said...

Should this have been red last weekend?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpCNB_fA-I4

I said on this board that it was a straight red and that Mc Cullough pretended to be injured to con a dopey ref. Any ref who let a deliberate dirty hit like that go without a red in today's game should never be let inside a pitch again to ref

Absolute disgrace from Colly mccullagh and Mcnamee!
McNamee also showed at half time why he isn't it to ref a big game, dromore corner back shuda got the line! Once again the blues get away with it

Was any1 present at the trillick/ardboe game? It will be interesting to see if the county board come down hard on the ardboe corner back Shea Forbes after his stupidity! A future championship ban is what should be done!
Any word if cathal McCarron is fit to play this wkend after straight red in last years final?

One round over and wat a shock! Eglish winning in carrickmore and well worthy of it albeit a carmen side missing Conor Gormley but going by reports I don't tink he wuda completly changed the outcome of the game!
Dromore kick of with a good home win clonoe with no love lost between the side with ricey gettin some attention!
Coalisland continue there impressive league from last year with a result against a much improved trillick side!!
County champs errigal sound good but without Petey Harte are they relying on T.Canavan to much?

Predictions for week 1:
Omagh   v   Cookstown * Cookstown by 2
Errigal Ciaran   v   Donaghmore #Errigal by 5
An Charraig Mhor   v   Eglish #Carrickmore by 2
Moy   v   Derrylaughan #Derrylaughan by 5
Dromore   v   Clonoe # Clonoe by 4
Coalisland   v   Trillick #Coalisland by 10
Greencastle   v   Killyclogher draw
Augher   v   Ardboe #Ardboe by 8
Cookstown to win away to omagh? not much faith in trillick, don't see it being that one sided!

So I see It was passed at the county board meeting last night that the club format for the championship will be retained for the season. The championship starts at the end of July, proper job!

I think carmen cud mount a challenge if they get past the first round and avoid a so call top side,I think if the get paired against one of the top teams in the first round I don't think they'll get past them, anything cud happen then in the latter stages!
As for omagh I duno,I feel every year they seem to be lackin te mentality jst to step up to the plate on a big occasion! The las tfews years I've tipped them and they seem to play nice football at times which they will always do with the quality they have but can't win the big game! Few players over in Australia aswel and if they return they'll be a major boost but hard to call at this stage!

Right folks guna start this all of,predictions for the forthcoming season?
League winners it's hard to look past Clonoe/Coalisland and Errigal!
On the championship front although it's hard to say before a ball is even kicked but I'll have to go for Clonoe or Ardboe! Just don't think Errigal have what it takes to retain the title which wud be a remarkable feat and I'm tipping Clonoe just for the quality of there side and the form McAliskey is showing already! On dromore I think there defeat in last years final will have a major negative effect on them and with McCullough retired and rumours of players working in England and not playing this year and porter also gone i can't see them doin it! As for ardboe I jst think there a side who is guna click and jst have a feeling B.McGuigan is guna win a championship at some stage before he retires!!
Any thought people?
Also my relegation tips wud be Augher and Cookstown! I think it's a major step for Augher and it will be great experience for future years to have played senior ball because i believe they will get back but don't think as a team there ready for it now with quality wise! As for Cookstown I jst don't think there a team who have that spirit to stay up and when things go wrong they jst give up,it's all right when there winning wk in and wk out but they need more leaders when the going gets tough!!
