Richer are a great group of guys and are really knowledgeable, I would constantly use them for all my av stuff (to the point where I am now on first name terms with everyone in the store) but they like me are not big fans of the Samsung tv's, the Sony KDL 503 range seem to be winning all the plaudits at the minute but it really depends on your situation what tv is best for you.  I would go have a chat with them if I were you.  I would try to avoid Currys etc as they really try to push older models or lower speced models to drive sales

Thanks for that. What impressed me most about Richer Sounds was their 5 year guarantee which was pretty cheap and of course the likes of currys, argos dont give you that offer.

I have the tv on a wall bracket and I want to make sure I can get another TV to fit it cause dont want to take it down as I have no room to put it on a stand.

As long as the tv has HD, good sound, freeview for the switch over next year I am happy. A friend has a Samsung 40" with sky HD and I was very keen on getting the sky HD as the quality of picture was fantastic

D MC K are you better just going to them directly and dealing with them or buy online with richer sounds?

Hello

I am currently on the look out for a a new TV. I have an LG 32" in the Living Room which I am going to put in the sunroom as the TV in there is a 21 inch and its picture recently is poor.

I want to buy a 40" tv for the living room now. I have my eye on SAMSUNG LE40C530 40 inch LCD TV 1080p HD Ready Freeview.

Would anyone have any other recommendations on any other brands?

Also has anyone ever dealt with http://www.richersounds.com/product/lcd-tv/samsung/le40c530/sams-le40c530
They seem very reasonably priced and with a 5 year guarantee for £35 extra.

Some of the crap he comes out with is complete bullshit.

Yesterday Liam Gervin scored a great point in the first half and he reckoned it was clearly wide and that Gervin had his head in his hands for missing it. The replay clearly shows that it was scored and that Gervin ran straight out to his position again.

In fairness Marty Clarke is good and knows his stuff, thank god there is someone else there to listen to. Jimmy Smyth should be there for all LIVE GAA games. He has never been replaced

could someone please tell me how this lucky 15 works again.
I picked four horses today and had intended to do £1 each way but by mistake I done £1 to win.

The four I chose were
Beautiful Sound @13/2
Fiveforthree @ 11/1
Rubi Light @ 20/1
Mr Cracker @14/1

Beautiful Sound and Rubi Light were both placed 3rd. Had I had any money on them each way would I have won anything??

I see the Grand Opera house have extended the show for another three nights next week.

Has anyone had the opportunity to go and see it?

After yesterdays drubbing it is hard to see anything but an easy Armagh win in this one. I just hope we don't go out without a fight. I would like to see Malachy return to the half back line that helped us reach the Ulster Final in 2008. The majority of the new lads drafted into the panel this year are great triers but unfortunately just not good enough at this level or at any county level (as proven in the NFL). The team I would like to see start is..........

Ronan Gallagher
John Woods
Martin O'Brien
Niall Bogue
Damian Kelly
Ryan McCluskey
Tommy McElroy
Martin McGrath
James Sherry
Mark Little
Rory Gallagher
Darryl Keenan
Seamus Quigley
Ryan Carson
Chris O'Brien

Well as a Fermanagh supporter, that performance yesterday was a complete disaster and to see any kind of result v Armagh is beyond us. Look how both teams have progressed since they last played in 08!! Monaghan Divison1 and 2nd Ulster Final in 3 years, Fermanagh Div 4 and 2 championship wins in 2 years (last year v Down and this year against a mediocre Cavan side). Yet this is exactly the same Monaghan team that played in 08.
I cant figure out why fermanagh did not employ their usual sweeper system that has served them well since 08??? would this not suggest the reason why fermanagh conceded 21 points yesterday???? The new players in have not produced the goods to be fair and to say they did the business v Cavan is a false indicator of where they are and fermanagh are in the rankings. Winning championship games in semi and final stages is where you earn your corn.

Emmett you suggest returning to the same half back line as the ulster final...I think they should return to most of the team that reached that final. The players available in the squad at minute such P. Sherry in at corner back, D. Kelly Half Back, Ryan Keenan and C McElroy into the forward line. even throw cosgrove in middle and or play as half forward coming into middle of pitch. Little does not deserve his place on current form along with a few other forwards after yesterdays display. I defo think John Woods deserves his chance as he did not put a foot wrong in any games I seen of him in Mc Kenna and I heard he was good in final league game v Cavan marking Mackey

Have a feeling that Fermanagh may get a win on Sunday.
The defence has a better look to it and with McEllroy in a WHF he will be playing the sweeper role he has played so effectively over the last few years.
Gallagher and Maguire should give us a cutting edge up front as well and McGrath has had 2 games now and should be returning to near full fitness.
Have a feeling it will not be pretty but we will emerge with the 2 points.

I am hopeful myself of a victory this Sunday. Apparently Fermanagh played well last Sunday and really should have had Wexford dead and buried 10 minutes into the 2nd half as they missed at least a goal and 3 points.
Good to see Gallagher back to add an extra dimension in the forward dept and Eamon back too should be a serious threat to any defence. 2 games should have brought McGrath on a good bit too. From what I gather from chatting to few people down at the game last week in Wexford I heard McElroy was acting as sweeper again and doing a good job by all accounts and when plenty of break ball.
A victory on Sunday and the final game V Cavan could save fermanagh from the drop! fingers crossed

on first look;

R Gallagher (club related), S McDermott (finished?), R McCluskey, C McElroy, E Maguire, M Little... why is either Quigley not listed? And should there not be more Devenish/Roslea lads on this panel as they were best 2 clubs last season ?

is Shane McDermott retired?  if so big loss. McCluskey is obviously with Portadown. What are the reasons for Little, McElroy and Maguire??? that is 3 forwards from last year who started, big loss too.

I thnk roslea and devenish are well represented..

Yes looks like management are looking to see all the new boys in McKenna Cup.

What boys have not made the squad then?

Well when can you say is the best time for post mortems?? yes absol brilliant support from Fermanagh and very surprised too but we probably expected a result so that is why there was a good turn out. Fermanagh started off well and should probably been more in front in the 1st half with the possession and of course the strong breeze but were lucky to get the goal before half time to give fermanagh the lead at the break. time after time in the 1st half wicklow kicked dangerous ball into their full forward line which threaten our full back no end and only for recovery tackling/defending made sure no goals were conceded.

Ok Chris Breen made great saves but where did his kick outs go all the time?? straight down the middle to wicklow midfield which we neva won unless it was directed to james sherry who palmed down to peter sherry and in turn delievered good ball into fullforward line in 1st half. With the size of those midfielders from wicklow kick outs to wings should have been enforced by the management on the line....How mark little stayed on for 1st half is a mystery. what did he do apart for the pass for goal and his man attacked flat out in 1st half. Two keenans worked very hard (with darly getting good scores) along with seamus quigley until injury. James sherry battled well in midfield but go no support.

Was bringing on mc cluskey corect decision? fermanagh were ahead at break and bring on an extra defender?? ok little had poor 1st half but now was the time to unleash him as extra man. or what bout Damian kelly?? he had good season last year and attacks well with the ball and has an eye for a score.
Wicklow were down to 14 men and lost their main free taker Hannon!!!! and later in the half were down to 13 men......

What was point bringing on mc elroy to full forward line?? i have neva seen him play there and also since we were struggling at midfield break ball was crucial and he is key in this area. fermanagh won hardly any break ball for at least a 15min spell staright after half time and wicklow built up a strong lead at this stage. thought it was awful unfair decision taking him off after 20 mins. anyone could have went at that stage.

2nd half was a complete shambles all over the pitch. no leadership, no direct running with ball, moving barry owens from chb to fb to ff what that hell was going on here???
where fermanagh go from here is anyone's guess.. Ulster finalist 2008 to ..........2009 it doesnt look promising.
its bout time some experience was brought back into squad and regroup again for 2010.

Lets cut the hype and bullshit lads. Down will win this easily, and in saying that  i am not disrespecting Fermanagh who in their current form and with their list of injuries, will do well to keep the score respectable. I dont underestimate the ability of the current Down team and management to c**k things up, but to lose this one would be difficult even for them

That's exactly what you are doing.
