Watched the first series of The Booth at the End. Interesting story line and concept.

Has anyone else seen it?

Is there any more Boardwalk Empire in the pipeline?

Early alert!

If you enjoyed Spiral or The Killing or Wallander (original Swedish version), you might enjoy a step further along the road of subtitled foreign language shows with Borgen which is on BBC4 at 9pm on Saturday 7th January.  It is a Danish political thriller which was a huge hit in Denmark (naturally).  Worth a try.

Yeah i read about it today, looks good.

Anyone watch Sherlock on BBC 1 last night. Thought it was very good and worth a look on the iPlayer if you missed it.

Repeated tonight at 7 on BBC 3 if you've missed it.

Must get into that Sherlock.

Got The West Wing boxset for Christmas, I had never seen it before, am currently on Series 3, it is a seriously good show, can see why everyone raves about it. That will be all I am watching for January then!

I'm half way through it (on download) at the moment - it's very good indeed.  I'd have called it a political drama, rather than a thriller though (sort of a cross between 'House of Cards' and 'A very British Coup').

If it were legal to do so I'd use Piratebay.

I have a rapidshare account and use bolt.cd.  Some appear to think the fileserve account is better value at the moment.

The Wire S1 E1 is on Sky Anytime at the minute and it is going to run on Sky Atlantic on Fridays at 22:15.  Was for buying the box set soon too.

Fascinating documentary just finished on TG4.  Watch it on iPlayer.

20:35 Dushlan (R) Documentary following Irish-speaking New Yorker Sgt Seamus o Fhianghusa on deployment in Afghanistan. The first episode meets up with him on rest and recuperation in the Donegal Gaeltacht as he ponders a second term on the Afghan front line, and hears from his father and mother in New York about their mixed emotions over his chosen career.
