GAA Discussion / Re: Donegal's year perhaps?

I would back the ABD campaign!
I have nothing against Donegal at all and in normal circumstances I'd be delighted for them as they have won nothing of note in a generation. However I hate the way they play, I hate the cynicism in their play (despiutes Jimmy McGuinness claims of innocence - what a joke!) and I hate a team who have rode their luck across a number of games. For those reasons it's ABD all the way for me!

Agree completely. And as much as I hate the dubs, if they beat us on Saturday I hope they go on to trounce Donegal.

Silly laws that will never be enforced

I'd like to see Justy start in place of Ricey and Cassidy in place of Hub. I think ricey has looked a bit out of sorts this season and I'd agree that Justy is the best all round footballer we have. Cassidy if fit could be useful as I think his mobility could make a difference around the middle. Accurate point-taking from distance will be key if we're to get to All - Ireland day. It's been our undoing against Dublin last year and Donegal this year. Coney could be key. Hopefully this is the game where he announces himself as a star for the now rather than a star for the future.

Any of the five teams remaining have a good chance. No outstanding team around for the last couple of seasons and it's there for the taking for whatever group wants it most. If Mayo don't sh*t themselves, which is a big if, they've got a great shout.

GAA Discussion / Re: quarter final draw

My moneys on Kildare, Down, Tyrone and Cork. I expect Kerry to be very confident of beating down which is justifiable but i can see down pulling a big performance out in a big match for once.

Tyrone for the all ireland though!!

Could any of yiz help me with a question bout the tickets?

I'm ordering a few for students off ticketmaster prob just guna print them off. I know for the student discount they just have to show their student cards to some fellas outside but I read somewhere that ye can only get this discount if the tickets are for the cusack or davin stands? Is this true? No major deal like just wondering
Correct

Students and OAPs must purchase full price tickets for Davin or Cusack Stands only. Then they can get a refund at Block D turnstiles to rear of Cusack Stand prior to entry, assuming they have appropriate ID.

Thanks :)

It's bound to result in a call-up to the Tyrone panel for a few of the Clonoe boys. Who d'ya think Harte will have his eye on? Personally I think Ryan T, Coly Doris and Brady at full back have the best shouts.

gwan the rahillys :D bout time the O'Neill cup came back to the east!

pity the row will get the headlines rather than Clonoes immense season. Beating Carrickmore, Errigal and Dromore takes some doing and they'l be hard stopped in ulster.
