Technically still in both cups, you wouldn't bet against 5-0 at Old Trafford. Could still win the league, failing that 4th place is now as good as any trophy and probably worth more in terms of £££s.

This proves what a super manager Ferguson really was. Ok you can say that players were coming to the end of their tethers etc etc but he got them to win the league and the following year Moyes couldn't do a hate with them.
He was unequalled at getting the best out of the players he had. However, he has left the team in a bad state due to his stubborness in the transfer market so certainly not a flawless manager. He brought great success, eventually, but left the team as he found it.
