I went in without any expectations as its yet another Marvel movie but its actually really enjoyable.

Thought Wrath of Man was very good.  Put it like this, Tenet had all this hype as if it were some master piece while Wrath of Man didn't.  Wrath of Man was a far better film.

Excellent movie, went to see it at the cinema at the time. Gran Torino, in the same vein, both movies built for Eastwood. Both class.

seeing as the Olympic diving is currently on. Jason Staham's latest offering is Wrath of man. It has little or no plot. You won't find any Oscar winning performances. But it's pretty good as a shoot'em up.

Probably mentioned already, but in a similar vein, Bob Odenkirk's film Nobody is great fun.

Not sure about Ireland, but it was only released in the US this summer to the cinema/Amazon $20 rental market. Could be up on Prime or one of the other apps at this point.

I watched "Boys from County Hell" last night. I knew nothing about it before hand and only watched it as Conor Grimes (Datsun Donaghy) and Fra Fee are in it. It turned out to be a very good vampire move. It is a bit like An American Werewolf in London. It could have been called an Irish Vampire in Derry. It also has John Lynch and Louisa Harland (Orla from Derry Girls). So good performances all round and I would rate it 8 out of 10.

According to the Irish Film Classification website,  Rocky IV: Rocky v Drago is being released on 19th November,  but I can't find any cinema North or South that are showing it. I don't want to miss it because media reports suggest it will be shown for one night only. Anyone know anything?

Has anyone seen Dune in the Cinema? Heard mixed reports but sounds like the kind of film you'd need to see on the big screen.

Yeah Nobody was a great laugh.
Not much dialog, but complete over the top violence from a very unlikely looking character.

Its been like that for years, at least for me. There's one every few months, that's about it.

Watched the new Bond film over the weekend. I enjoyed it, even if it wasn't as good as Skyfall or Casino Royale. Won't offer any spoilers.

I think Craig has ruined Bond films for me though. Like the Nolan Batman films and subsequent superhero efforts (could be why there's so few movies I'm interested in seeing), I'm not sure I'll be too interested in future Bond films as Craig did such as great job with it overall.

If you have kids, Clifford the Big Red Dog is decent. Tony Hale as the evil corporate bad guy shows you how suitable it is for youngsters. Jungle Cruise was fun also. The Rock is always very watchable.
