2-0 and 3-1 up and end up drawing. Story of Uniteds CL group campaign. Wouldn't mind if Galatasaray were made work hard for their goals but in reality Onana every bit as bad as Degea was against Sevilla in last seasons EL quarter final.

Need big favours to reach the knock out stages now and TBH that United side that don't make themselves hard to score against and beat have no real business reaching it.

Ghost

Utd should have qualification wrapped up with the positions they've found themselves in during this group but instead it's looking like europa league at best. Absolutely criminal not to see that game out tonight.

Onana had looked to have turned things around a bit but those errors tonight are unforgivable. The 2nd choice Turkish lad should be given a chance after that tonight.

The African Cup can't come quick enough. Get shot of him for a month.

To score 9 goals in the 3 away matches and only come away with a point is a bit mad.

The damage was already done in this group with a home defeat to Galatasary and away to Copenhagen both games had to play with 10 men.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Onana had few good games there but back to his flaky self tonight. Europa league would be some hindrance to the league with the amount of injuries but should be aiming to win kt

Did he really have good games or just what is expected from a keeper? DeGea has been a big loss this year, lots of soft goals let in. Don't see the benifit of having a keeper that can play it out but will let you down regularly. ETH's signings have been very poor outside Martinez and jury still out on Rasmus.

DeGea no loss at all he was a pure dodge as well. Onana may not be the answer but DeGea was done as seen by the fact no one else wants him. Rasmus will be class imo.

United are well out of the CL , and the Europa.

They don't have a good enough squad (or  team), to cope with  it.  Get the injured players sorted , and a game a week will give ETH the  breathing space to try and get  things right, and get some sort of playing  system  in place

No point flogging a  poor squad with a lot of injuries,  through 3  competitions come new year. That will only lead  to one ending - ETH being sacked

Haven't actually looked at standings, thought they were set to finish 3rd. Won't have league cup to worry about this year though.

From the Bunker

The gas thing is they can still get out of the group. They will be play a Bayern side at home who have nothing to play for but the Win bonus.

Could Utd be the first to win only two games and get out of the group with 7 points?

Juventus got out with  5 draws and a late win v United , in 98 I think it was.  Got to the final too.

Bayern Munich 0 Copenhagen 0 the result after late drama of penalty given for hand ball in added only for the ref to change her mind once reviewing it on the screen.

So after that draw.

United can now only go through by beating Bayern and hoping Galatasaray and Copenhagen finishes in a draw

Copenhagen should beat Galatasaray at home regardless of what happens in Old Trafford.

1 point from 3 games where United were in total control, completely thrown away all 3 games.

Galatasaray had a lot of shots but didn't create too many clear cut chances whilst every time United put a few passes together they created chances. Simply not good enough from Onana but even still United missed so many chances in the last 15 minutes, Pellistri falls to pieces anytime he gets near the goal, most of his attempts are like back passes, his all round play has improved in the last few years but he has zero end product; Nowhere near good enough for United currently.

Anthony played well but the game was wide open, have my doubts he can back that up at the weekend. Tactically  Ten Hag got it right, United just weren't keeping the ball well enough. McTominay made those runs from early on and wasn't been tracked but wasn't passed too.

Ten Hag getting the blame as usual but he got a lot right last night, a few players let him down. There's definitely signs of improvement in the last 2 games. Saturday will be a big test so certainly not getting carried away.

United will have to sell Onana this summer. He's just not up to it. Need to fix that problem ASAP

Sell? Utd sell? What is this selling idea you speak of? He'll run his big contract down.
Maguire got OGS the boot and Onana will do the same with EtH. Fans aren't stupid. They can see that he's not up to it. If EtH continues to pick him fans won't tolerate it and nor they should. He cost £50m, he was EtH man. The best managers are ruthless, going right back to Fergie with Jim Leighton, Pep with Joe Hart, Flopp with Karius, Arteta with Ramsdale. EtH needs to get shot or he needs to turn his performances around.... and soon.
