Sunday, don't know where u getting the fans at, Kerry being very little, Mayo maybe 15k closer to 10k if u lucky, Galway, less than 10k,  Armagh 18-20k, how many armagh fans at clones, it wasn't full?  It be well under 50k

The fact that the game is in Croke Park I would estimate more like 25-30k Armagh fans.

Was checking Ticketmaster there way more tickets sold than I thought would be for Saturday!!!
They release tickets in sections apparently, so a lot of the greyed out areas haven't been put on sale yet and won't be unless needed.
Looks like the Upper Canal End, along with the Upper Hogan won't be open.
The entire lower tier plus Upper Cusack will be open.

I'm in the upper hogan.

Does anyone know how ticketmaster operate this?
Should I take the shitty tickets that are on offer now. Or are more sections still to be opened up?
Good question, I tried buying this morning and kept getting crap seats in Davin or corners of Hogan/Cusack... herself went on 15 mins later and got slap bang in the middle of the Hogan.

Same happened to me although I got upper hogan, middle of the field.

Wonder will Armagh and Cork get the full two weeks rest and then play on the Sunday. Suppose depends on how the draw goes. Wondering as I can only attend on the Sunday.

Any recommendation for couple of pints before the game tomorrow?

Toby Jug and Red Ned's bars are within 500 metres of the stadium and Keegans also but that would be more if you were looking for a feed. Not often we get a home championship game especially against Tyrone. So would expect all bars to be packed.

Some pressure on Armagh. Lose this and all of Geezers hard work will have come to nothing. Tyrone already proven they're the best. If they lose sure what about it? All good team get beaten and we'll always have 2021. But for Armagh this is everything. If they lose this match with home advantage I don't know where they go after this.

Should you not be more worried about where Tyrone go? Excuses at the ready if Tyrone lose. We always had 2021? All good teams get beaten? You would near think Tyrone could possibly lose this game.

How would Kildare losing trigger a prelim round?
Surely it only applies to Div3/4 teams

Because Westmeath are a Division 3 team who would be in a provincial final in this situation.
It would mean there are at least 9 teams in the Sam Maguire qualifiers, which would mean that a preliminary round is needed to get the number for round 1 of the Sam Maguire qualifiers down to 8 teams.

My understanding is if there are 9 teams, all of them would be put in a bowl and the first two drawn out would play each other with the first drawn getting home advantage.
Similar for 10 teams.

I think I read somewhere that teams that make their provisional semi finals will not have to play in the preliminary round.

I think I have worked this out correctly, if either Kildare or Limerick lose this weekend then there will be a preliminary round for the qualifiers.

TUV are doing very very well.

If this continues is there any chance of Alliance becoming the 2nd largest party?

Pathetic performance from Armagh yesterday, the time has surely arrived where McGeeney has got to go. The tactics in the first half were shocking. Not pushing up on the kickout enabled Donegal to build from the back and into scoring position within 2 or 3 passes. I don't understand how Hall is even on the panel never mind starting, offers absolutely nothing. Donegal must have kicked 6 wides in the first half alone and dropped at least 3 short. It's the performance again and again in the Ulster championship that annoys me not the fact that we lost. We seem complete enept to win a substantial meaningful game. The ref was definitely not the reason we lost but the consistency just wasn't there imo. I thought Armagh had to do alot more to win a free. 7 fouls given away by Donegal all game doesn't seem to make sense to me. I don't think a run to the quarters through the back door should save geezers job but it probably will. Anyway congrats to Donegal much better team on the day.

J70 your probably the best to ask, is there any decent bars or somewhere for a good bite to eat around ballybofey?
